  1. well the prob is only at idle, would mains cause a lean idle? it ran great before the piston shatterd i even ran the same jetting last winter and it ran perfect but a lil rich in the summer, it didnt melt down. is it possible the choke lever is leaking air by it? it doesnt stay out on its own
  2. 2 carbs 1 air filter. the plugs are soaked but probly from me holding the choke to make it idle. it must be pluged pilots ill take them appart and see
  3. i just got my motor back in the shee thank god, anyway it started up right away and it seems lean at idle, i have to barely hold the choke to make it idle. is this because its new, or because i have the timing at 4-5 now? the only thing that changed durring rebuild was the timing plate, its got fmf high rev pipes, toomy 2 into 1 filter (no box), no tors, other than that its stock. the jetting is, 280 mains, stock pilot,middle clip at 600 feet above and 80* does this sound right? it ran good before. any info would be sweet
  4. nope, it pops in just like the shifter seal. my cases are appart right now, i just checked to make sure
  5. you shouldnt need to split the case. all you have to do is take the sprocket off and swap the seal. i usually tread a screw into the seal so i can pull it out easier
  6. your tranny vent tube might be cracked, take your water impeller cover off and you should be able to see whats goin on
  7. just get a new flyweel the one you used a 3 jaw on is most likely bent now and will tear apart your crank
  8. it could be your crank falling appart. it happened to me, the crank started to unpress and it was rubbing the case. just an idea tho. or maybe a piece of the piston broke off and is spinning around with the crank, just what i found when i took mine appart.... shitty deal

    it doesnt really matter, t5's,fatty's...... he doesnt care he wont pay the money for new ones so he will get what he can for cheaper. i told him he should have got a 300ex if he doesnt want to spend money. gotta help a buddy out tho

  19. well i did some lookin around and found this: Sea Level 1000' 2000' 3000' 4000' 5000' 18cc 197 178 171 170 165 145 19cc 183 167 160 158 152 137 20cc 169 156 149 146 140 129 21cc 156 145 138 134 128 121 stock 130 125 118 112 106 100 so 21cc would give me around 150? also is this safe with 4 degrees advanced if im running 94 octane?
  20. well my motor is almost back together and i want to make sure my jetting is close. my mods are, cool head with 21cc domes, fmf high rev pipes, boyson superstock reeds, timing is going to be at + 4, toomy 2 into 1 filter intake, stock everything else. i am at 600' above sea level and its around 70 degrees. I did a search but nobody has the same pipes, any suggestions would be great thx
  21. so i got a new stator from rmstator, the sent me the wrong year(it has a diff plug) my question is can i just take the plug off my old stator and match the wires by color?
