whoever told you they are trail pipes needs SLAPPED... DMC are only decent MID and absolutely SCREAM up top.. they will never have any bottom end..

you know the crazy shit is.. if thats the right one.. my dmc 916 has a dent EXACTLY like that. in the exact same spot. what the hell.

lets seee.. id have either a custom dean sundahl frame and suspension OR! laeger pro traxis frame with 250r geometry.. and motor wise 4 mill powervalved cub 35mm pwk and HIPERS haha

do what i did to mine.. i wet sanded with some 400.. then some 600..them some 1000 gritt.. and then some 2k grit..and put some mothers wax on it.. smoothed out all the imperfections.. and made them shine like new.. i did that to my fronts. rear. tank and rad cover.. looks like NEW and they are original 87 plastics

ive seen those used in person. and they fold over when you get going. they like to spin on any extended bike.. ive had better luck with sand stars than those.and plus sandstars are cheaper

probable reason of discontinue was prolly the intro of the dmc alien's....

there was someone on here that had some dmc916's with a spark arrested end on it.. looked weird. but did the job.. doubt they still make the spark arested end for it tho seeing as they are discontinued pipes

FAIL! they are really mid/topend pipes.. they hit mid nicely then SCREAM up top. i have a set.. i know.. and everyone else konws they are mid/top pipes

i have razrs on my banshee and i ride in mostly rocky sand and it spins and spins until you hit like 3rd then it starts to get going... when i just hit pure sand i put my turbo's on.. and i roost like hell and whoop up on ppl..of course im not stock.. .. my brother has innova's on his rears and he spins then it grabs..

from my experience with the desert storms are they are heavy without rims to me.. i picked em up all the time at ATV CYCLE SPORTS. they would most likely make a stock bike bog. if you still want to have style and look good and throw roost and not kill a stock bike. your probably going to need to go with an 8 paddle hauler or extreme.. i went with some Turbo paddles. they are basically haulers but not buffed. and they last a pretty goood while.

i have 5 banshee's. a streetbike powered banshee. a polaris xplorer 300 2 stroke awd kept up with my blaster. a polaris trail boss 330. and a blaster

you can all call as much BS as you want on this.. but my bike is an 87.. and it still has the 1987 sprocket on it. factory steel.. not wearing out or anything. chain has def been replaced but sprockets..nope..
