  8. Yes, it is on same side as delayed .. I have 280 main & Needle in 4th pos. ( as Toomey stated in the kit) Carbs are sync'd I did re-adj carbs just now to 1.5 turns out sounded better? I originally had stuck float in carbs, could this still be what was happening today? Perhaps revving cause it to free itself? Just asking..
  9. I was wondering if someone could tell me if this is a problem or not & if so where to start looking? When I start up my shee , it fires off on first kick, but only runs on one cylinder until I rev it up a few times? Is this natural when using the choke? or what? also I just install new Toomey T5's, & carb kit & also Vforce reeds, & dyna ign in last several weeks. . I noticed a real tinny tapping kind of sound primarily on right side in the exhaust ? Just don't know enough about it yet, trying to dial everything in..

  11. Can someone tell me if a adj. Timing plate is necessary or advised if I am now using The Dyna ign. system with the 4 diff. settings? How if at all does this ign. adj. the timing for you lastely, anyone actually know how much more rev limit the dyna allows? Thanks

  13. Ok .. I love this place & you guys are the Best!! I gave them bowls a love tap ( Like I tap the old lady...) & BOOM! fired up so quick it scared me.... I am one Happy 'ol boy.. I thank you all that offered help & I really do appreciate it.. Man, those Toomey's sound sweet & I beleive that Dyna ign is going to be worth it.. Everyone have a Great Week... I got some riding to do!!

  17. I will go out tomorrow evening & see if I can get floats to unstick. It appears to be left carb bowl . If I can ever gas to her, I think I will a happy camper.. Thanks to everyone for your help tonight.. I will be back tomorrow to update or to ask for more help...
  18. Let me just ask a dumb question ? If I got spark to plugs does this mean that Tors system is working? or Exactly how does the tors system keep the bike from running? It does sound like carbs, since plugs are not wet & floor is!!.. I dont know
  19. Slides are OK....I did not mess with air screws... Choke is stock with stock carbs..Jetting kit was Toomey's 280 & 4th groove Yes I did try with throttle part open..I haven't tried starting fluid..?????

Ok man, I thought I had found the problem..the choke tube had come off the left.I put it on & nothing.. anyway Both pings in windows at exact same time, all jets in & needles...BUT plugs are NOT wet... It dumps fuel out of overflows like crazy when i try to start it up. does any of this add up?

  22. Hey Brian, I thought surely I did, as I kept them seperatley on the proper side of bike, but I am not 100% sure? How could I tell? & how would effect them? Not questioning you, just trying to learn from you... also when tightening down the caps w/t tors is there any way to screw up? I didn't know how tight to tighten them ?
  23. OK I just went out & checked for spark at plugs..OH YES! It has juice.. leads to beleive it is something to due with Tors or carbs themselves?
