  1. hey thanx wacko man you were on that one fast, yep i have a +4 lonestar swinger, i bought it new, it has about 3 rides on it, its just too long for my taste. send me a pm if interested
  2. we have 3 banshee's, 2 have full fenders, 1 is cut, the one that is cut was that way when i bought it, i like the look, but for the riding i do, full fenders are the way to go. i don't think they look dumb at all. it helps hide that cub cylinder!
  3. im running 19cc domes and +5 timing on 93 pump. motor runs great, plugs look great, but could be my elevation also. keep an eye on it for detonation. like john said, creates more heat, but if oyu are on top of your tune you will be fine. especially with the 21cc domes, i would go a lot hight if it were me, just my .02
  4. hey snop thanx, im not a pro but i think i have a good handle on doing a fairly clean job, the results with the porting i am doing have been excellent, definately seat of the pants difference, i just need to learn a lot more to go deeper into port timings and blowdown, but like i said, the results have been very good, not a high hp drag port, but it defineately wakes the motor up. thanx again, if anyone wants to dedicate any more information it would be greatly appreciated. i have 2 more sets of cylinders i will experiment with later on after reading and getting more knowledge. i am also going to make a call to cc specialties
  5. ok man thanx, so just raise the transfers .5mm.? that will give more broad power and tourqe?? not trying to make it pipey!!.
  6. hey thanx wacko!! and jeff sorry if i came off rude, didn;t mean to sound rude, just thought i was going to start geting beat on. and thanx for the tip. i didn't touch the exhaust port though . left it alone. so raise the transfer and boost ports about 1mm?? sounds good.
  7. oh, would be cool to have a booth you can use to reclaim the media, and contain the mess, just get a full body suit.. i have a 1200 sq ft. steel building out behind the house, its insulated, thinking of building a big oven and blasting room??HMMMMM???
  8. hey man, what size are the blast cabinets?? mine is big enough for a 18in rim or so.. i get my media here locally, 100lbs for 10 bucks
  9. how do you sandblast frames though? also are you using the oven thermostat to control the heat? i am on the verge of making an oven.
  10. man. i have not been using a spray booth, no wonder i always have a mess to clean up!! lol. hey tate, what size oven did u say you had?? is it homemade? if os shoot me some tips, i need to make a bigger oven, and also how did u sandblast the frame? have a big sandblast cabinet??

  12. ok, sorry to come off defensive guys, its hard to read a post and take it the way it was intended, i didnlt do a lot on the transfer roofs, its your basic trail/play port. nothing wild but it will run good. i have done many the same way i did this one, great results. oh yea, hey jeff, if you would like to let a few secrets out of the bag i'm all ears!
  13. well then, if i knew i was going to be critsized i would have not posted, just threw up a few pics, wasn't an all out drag port or anything.
  14. naa. banshee are already to heavy, plus wouldn't the plastic droop from the added weight??. na thats just a mess waitin to happen i think(not doubting you can do it or anything)
  15. well. if u think you will not lose any money i would go ahead and trade. try the banshee out, if u dont like it sell it and get something else. just my .02
