  2. man that is very strange, i have seen the hot rods cranks handle sever abuse and horsepower on highly modded bikes, i have one in my cub motor and it is holding up nicely, but i have seen yamaha cranks that are only a few years old blow up also, i think all in all sometimes you get a product that has impurities in the metal or materil it is made of, not sure how to explain it, sometimes u get lucky and sometimes not i guess, just my .02

  4. he is right, the wrong needle and it runs like shit, i had the same experience and snop helped me jet it, and WOW!! there is no way stock carbs can outperform the 2 into 1 in any way. dude i would almost bet money u had an odball needle in that carb, the single carb is almost twice as sensitive to changes in jetting it seems, but once you have the right needle, along with the right size jets, it definately outshines the stock carb setup hands down.

  7. i think once you bolt the bowls on they can't go anywhere, i would put them on and not worry about it. thats just what i would do.

  11. i would actually get the motor fitted and bolted on, and modify the frame to clear the pipes, make the welds look nice, then powdercoat it, then you could easily swap out your pipes for different ones if u wanted..

  13. hey man thanx, yea i should have left the flames off of it and left it solid black, how do you like my blue bike?? i gave 1300 for it with title, i put a head on it, it had t6 pipes, i sold them and put the t5's on it, i put reeds, the 2 into 1 carb, the +2 swinger, and a gforce axle, oh yeah i also ported the cylinders myself.

  16. ive never rode a yfz but i have heard that they are an awesome handling bike. i wonder what a rolling chassis would cost? here is a pic of my cub bike, it is dirty.
  17. maybe i can keep the cub motor, part the rest of the bike out, and get a yfz rolling chassis to put the cub motor in?? now that would be interesting.

  19. i use a filter, very wise for the money, just think about it, how did that piece of dirt get down in your bowl and stop up your main jet?? theres only 1 way, it came into the carb with the fuel, if you have a loose air filter the dirt basically goes into the motor, not down inside of the carb, i little piece of dirt can cause a hell of a meltdown.. 2.50 is a good insurance premium i think.
