  1. yea, the problem is that other people that have paid to ride are going to want access to the drag strip (which is totally understandable.. maybe we can have every other race to ourselves?? or just race with the guys and pretend that they aren't there??? we will need someone at the end of the track to write down the winner each time because it is very dusty and will be hard to see who won..
  2. yea, its dusty as hell. i dont care if i win or not.. its all about the fun.. i'm just giving you guys a hard time.. the bike is fast, but surely not the fastest.. hell. just watching the drags is a blast for me..
  3. ok heres the deal.. how many other guys will be bringing afermarket cylindered bikes?? will i be the only one?? i was thinking more of starting about 2 or 3 bike lengths behind to make it more fair?? i would definately go for that. but if there are no rules, i'd be starting side by side?? its really a turd.
  4. no shit here.. lol. its dialed in somewhat.. maybe i should just bring the blue bike? or both? i'll be using some new 4snows on the cub with a +2 swinger.. not sure how it will hook.
  5. yep . n1-5 dunable is what i have also.. i love it.. got it from HJR... not many guys have HJR's tranny.. mine works awesome.
  6. yep, you can fan the clutch.. just can't backload it over 8k rpm.. its not as bad to ride as you think. i got use to it after about 10 minutes of riding
  7. i just went with a dunable overide.. it works just like a stock tranny except for the WOT clutchless upshifting!! don't be afraid to get one.. after riding with mine i love it.. but time will tell i guess.
  8. don't worry man.. its really a turd. its just loud, makes a lot of noise and blows oil all over the place.. on the good side, at least there won't be any mesquitos..

  10. sounds like there's gonna be some good racing.. i will definately bring the cub up there this time.. i can't wait to see how this bitch does.. i finally got the tranny and all lined out.. also have a new tire/gear combo that i think will be better for my weight.. really doesn't matter though, im just ready to have a good ole time. don't worry guys, she's a stock stroke bike, so don't expect a lot out of it. :biggrin:
  11. i bought a set of big bore cyinders off of ebay.. i got them super cheap.. after getting them i realized that someone tried to port them (they were fucked up).. so i removed one of the sleeves myself. all it took was a rubber malet and a 2x4.. it took some pounding but it came out.. the cylinders (aluminum) were cut out bigger and had a ring cut out at the top.. i have thought about buying a new set of sleeves and putting them in myself.. they are 68mm bore i think. . i would be afraid to spend the money on the bore/pistons to just see how they would run.
  12. yep, wanted to see the transfer ports (duration).. so is this going to be a hot woods/dune port?? the cuts look nice.. i assume you used a degree wheel.. did you use a base gasket under the jugs when you degreed and marked your cut-to lines?? i have a set of jugs that i could do some more work to also.. they are just a little more than a cleanup port done to them.. i didn;t know you could do the bost port at a different timing.. i can see the theory behind it also.. well keep us posted.. i am anxious to hear how they run..

  24. if i remeber correctly, your main jet seems WAY too big.. i am running a 165 at 600 ft above sea level.. you should be using a smaller jet than me at your elevation (but engine mods will differ your jetting) IMO.. are you using a fuel filter?? what type?? maybe you are running out of fuel (sucking the bowl dry).. which could be from running a BIG main jet, a low flowing fuel filter, or using too small of fuel line?? i would cover those bases to start.. check the needle in the carb, the 2 into 1's are super sensitive to needles.. SNOP will guide your in the right direction on this one, listen to him, he has some good knowledge.. i use a EEK needle in mine , it runs perfect.
