  1. i do powdercoating, i powdercoated all my hubs front and rear, sprocket hub, shifter, brake lever, kickstarter, anyway it looks awesome.. almost looks like chrome but looks better than polished.. if anyone is interested let me know.. if u send me you front hubs (with no bearings in them) i will powder them chrome and ship them back for45.00 shipping included.. let me know.. i can set it up on ebay if u want to feel better about sending me your parts.. i also do engine cases

  6. i always get this scenario!! when i go out, whats the deal with every guy on a 4 stroke wants to race a banshee.. they talk shit, but if they can beat a banshee its the best thing that ever happened to them.. its always fun. i had this guy on a new yfz450 want to race, he was missing teeth and his hair was longer than my sisters, i smoked his ass and he kept coming back, after i beat him about 5 times he gave up, and i was running stock cylinders with no portwork..

  8. i know how everyone has there own beliefs and opinions so here goes mine.. they too are shit.. i would spend money on reeds or a degree key or better yet a timing plate.. spend a little extra and get something thats gonna make a difference you can tell when u are riding it.. not what they claim on a dyno.. if my bike hauled ass in a major way and only dyno'd 60hp i wouldn't give a shit.. it hauls ass lol get what im sayin?

  11. how much better would the 4 mil run over the stock stroke?? is it worth the money and work?? if so i have a like new hotrods crank.., has 5 rides on it also.. what difference is noticed going from a stock stroke to a 4mil?
  12. that is a dam good idea.. the spring they send is really soft.. i would put a stock spring back in it, you will still have the roller tip and smooth umped shift star.. i think that sounds like a damn good idea.. if mine gives trouble that will be my first change.. if you do let me know how it works?? i am in ky and trail/woods ride so i go through some rough bumpy stuff, no probs yet but i have only had this thing out about 5 times..

  15. really? did you adjust your shift shaft so it is within spec?? i haven't had any pro on mine.. if i did get rid of one i would keep the modded star, but maybe the shift pro with a stock star would give you a smooth positive shift also.. its a toss up.. i haven't had any peob yet with mine.. i also run atd in my bike not sure if that makes any difference
  16. the one inside the frame.. and yes kroil oil (orange can) i use that .. it is in there bad.. i broke a strongarm, impact wont touch it.. the frame is kinda beat up so im going to just get another frame i guess.. its a shame..
  17. am on my way to buying a frame ( no doubt) but the frame i have, the dam retainer nut on the steering stem bearing will not budge.. there is nothing we have not tried.. was wanting to maybe get this frame fixed to keep as a spare and maybe pc later.. any ideas on the retainer nut?? any of u guys ran into this before?
  18. how much different than stock stroke is it?? is it just more tourqe?? or also hp?? what about the rev's will it still be a snappy loves to rev motor like the stock stroke is?? just can't see how different the motor will act and run??
  19. running a thinner bas gasket will put the piston (@tdc) closer to the dome of the head, which will slightly inrease compression, it is sorta the same effect of putting a taller domed piston in a motor, but on these motors i would not suggest it as it will also effect you port timing.. i would shave the head.. its not that big of a job.. takes 5 minutes to take it off
  20. hello.. running a 68mm stock stroke cub.. wanting a more woods friendly bike but i still want a lot of power.. what are the benefits of a 4mm stroker on stock cylinders?? whats the best setup to go with?? would a 7mil be better?? please help.. i really like a bike with good low-mid and a hard hitting, pulling top end.. i would prefer to use my t5 pipes and my 33 pwk's
  21. a +4 which i put on when i put the cub motor on.. i am taking the +4 off and going with my +2 which i like a hell of a lot better.. so do u have any suggestions on what kind of portwork to have done to a set of stock cylinders... i ran a set of stock jugs with no port work and all the bolt ons ( head, timing t5's, stock carbs, vforce) and i really loved it, it could have used a little more top end power but i loved the low-mid snap that it had also.. what do u think?
  22. well i would say a overide suits you well for what you do.. i stay in the woods mostly so my cheap little tranny mods serve my needs great. it shifts everytime with ease, i just can't complain.. did you lose a gear when going to the overide or still have all6??
  23. i trail ride and play.. ido drag some also .. i always runs my bike on the righ side.. actually too rich. i was wondering if i could go up to like 7 on it?? its really hard trail riding this bike.. i am debating to going back to a stock cylinder setup.. been running the cpi pipes(inframes) but might tryo to put my t5's back on it?? not sure.. its not as snappy as i would like it to be either
  24. but can u trail ride your overide?? i hit the mx track and there is no umping outta gear.. once these trannys are in gear they like to stay there.. i am very happy with the combination
  25. 68mm bore stock stroke, 20cc domes on 93 pump gas, what should the timing be set at? i am at +4 but have heard the cubs get a lot of timing advance?? and ideas?
