  2. ^^Agree, had the same problem a couple of days ago. Synced the carbs and problem went away. I think the easiest way to see when they are in sync is when the slides are almost fully raised and dissapear behind the top of the hole going horizontally throgh the carbs. Altleast on the flat slides, dunno about the round slides.

  8. Since I raised the clip one notch to leanen the needle the right silencer cleaned up and looks really nicely tanned and the left side is still a bit wet...but the left side is the one that produces nice pressure and heat from the exhausts. The right side that looks nice aren
  9. Yeah, I remember hearing about starting with main, then needle, then pilot but in all fuzz I rushed it and since I suspected I was rich all over I did it all at once...when you say needle will affect the run do you mean clip position or another leaner needle? And I think it was a keihin chart I saw something about the clip position and extreme temperatures like sub zero->rise clip

  17. If the black paint is still there, then has probably no port work been done...the same way goes for the intakes.
  18. I have a similar setup on mine, also 160 main and 48 pilot and after a couple of runs around the block, half the tank is gone. I
  19. Sounds a bit low...are you using a quality compression gauge? It should be screwed down the spark plug hole and engine kicked quite a few times with wide open throttle. Depending of quality on gauge the readings come out a bit different, often on the low side. I think race gas are usually used with compressions over 160 psi or something. Do you still have the stock cylinder head? Edit Remove the carbs and reed cages or the exhaust pipes to confirm if the cylinders really are ported. I got b.s:ed when I baught mine. The guy said it was duncan 403 and I didn
