  7. ^^^^I agree. But remember, he also thought it ran great when it was only making 97/47. The DYNO showed him what a good running motor really was. I'm sure he's very happy with the 114/64. A motor that makes 97/47 is no slouch. But if your motor is a 10 mill 535....I can guaranty it was built with bigger numbers in mind since an unported 421 cub can hit that.
  8. Your 535 cheetah is making nearly the same power as sprinklerman's 465 cub. (And a few other member's 10mill cubs) Not saying those numbers aren't impressive.... Not bashing the motor or builder. But I still haven't seen a P.V. Cheetah out perform a similar sized Cub. And Cheetahs with crank strokes smaller than 10 mill show even lower CC/HP/TORQUE ratios.

  10. No....I threw the book at my cheetah motors. They were the first of the CP cylinders. Calvin told me himself that they were an "obsolete design". The few members who have impressive cheetahs(CAMATV and a few others)....also have 350's that beat drag bikes. I still don't see dyno numbers for any of those bikes. If we did....smaller cubs could match the bigger cc cheetah numbers. So in my opinion, it's clearly rider and set-up working for them as opposed to motor.
  11. Well.....think what you will about all the input you get on this. But my Redline 465 Cub made the exact same low end torque numbers and higher HP than a F.A.S.T built 485 Cheetah. I had a 472 and 492 cheetah also and I'll never entertain using that cylinder design again. Especially on a motor smaller than a 10 mill. Carry on.
  12. Yes. I ran the "Mack Conversion" on an old trail bike. I ended up switching from diesel back to gas because gas was easier to find near our trail system. Also it let me run at the front of our group since I no longer had to worry about soot/smoke. But I miss that bottom end grunt.
