  3. If you want my input..... Spend the cash on your motor before it fails so hard the bill triples. I would get a HotRods 4mill crank and call Lane over at Vito's, tell him what crank you're going to use and have him set you up with some Vito's Super Stock pistons (7-8hp gain) The 4mill crank will give you some more torque. Talk to Lane about your jetting and now is a good time to get experience learning to read plugs and jet. Flip your front wheels. Do the offset mod. (Plug old valvestem hole and drill new one on other side of rim. It acts like wider A-arms. Otherwise buy some arms WITH BALL JOINTS NOT HIEMS. Take others advice on the arms and don't buy junk. If you need shocks....the best bang for your buck are WORKS dual rate AT STEELIES.

Ok, I keep reading you say you don't have the cash to do this right.......yet you have another post asking about A-arms and you keep leaning towards the cheap crappy arms despite everyone's advice. Maybe you should either do motor or suspension well....then do the other later, because you're fixin to do both 1/2 assed. Just saying.......either way, in both posts your mind sounded made up from the start. Maybe you were hoping everyone would agree with your plan and validate your choices. The consensus is to disagree with your planned course of action.

  6. Relax. Last time I checked, I'm bumping your sale post. (I even mentioned it to a site member who was looking for something like this) Yes, I was busting on you for $3000+ asking price. But as you get closer to $2200-$2500 the offers might start coming in. Anything in that range still gets you your exhaust. Carry on.

  10. They are exact copies of RAZR 2'S Buy with confidence. We run them on a few machines and they work great.
  11. But that sounds so bad ass! Just like a typical poor running Harley at a stoplight. I also like the people that do mods on Banshees and don't jet them. Then they talk about how 2-strokes are time bombs and can't handle long periods at high RPM. (Funny….didn't the Banshe motor start out in a street bike?) How was that possible?
  12. Well you're in charge of rolling video footage along side us then. Cause a Gator at the badlands is going to be like a football coach riding a golf cart around the infield, while athletes run speed laps around the track. Just tell us where you want us to meet up with you every time we get low on fuel and want to take a beverage break.
  13. If it's getting hot….you either need to get the bike moving to get air in the radiator…..or your jetting is wrong. If you have a stock motor, but added pipes without jetting….then the jetting is wrong. 100+ HP machines can stay cool riding hard in hot sand. The cooling system on a Banshee (If in good working order) will stay plenty cool. If your sticking with a stock motor, your existing set-up should be fine.
  14. In that long post CAMATV made, he referenced that the modded reeds felt the same as his V3's. 4's have clearly tested better than not only standard 3's, but even better than modded 3's. So YES......4's will be an upgrade. When you do, depending on your current tune, you should go up one size on your pilot.
  15. Yeah, I'm kinda stunned at the pricing I'm finding. I thought I got the deal of the century with mine for $2800. It came with ITP Baja re-enforcing ring rims, RAZR's on the back and RAZR 2's on the front, Precision Steering stem handlebar suspension and a title. But I went back with my buddy who found his '09 and with all those parts upgrades…..he blew my deal out of the water at only $2600! The pipe is worth $500ish, programmer is $350, nerfs $200?, RAZR 2's on the rear, front and rear bumpers, filter kit, NEW Sand Star paddles on NEW rims, T-9 rims on the front, $150 O'neal ride boots that had never been worn, the guy even threw in his helmet and 2 sets of goggles with spare lenses! AND ALL the original stock parts!!!! It's a buyer market. All these people out of work, or moving back home with their parents, having to move to apartments, no place to store these things….or TOO EXPENSIVE to justify paying for a storage place. This guy was back home (in his early 30's) with the parents and ALL his friends had sold their machines. He was totally getting out. That's how I talked him into throwing in the helmet, goggles, and boots. He even put all his spare oil in the box of stock parts and sent that with us. I was 1/2 way to talking him into throwing in his fuel jug when he figured they could use it for the mower. LOL

  17. And he probably could have saved 15% on his car insurance. With all that savings, he could have bought some porting. $600 for a HotRods crank and $300 for pistons?!?! That was more than a RAPE. Sounds like somebody called Trinity and they did a "Train" on his ass and wallet.
  18. DON'T BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO RIDE IT WITHOUT RE-JETTING! It will burn down and trash the pistons and you'll end up being one of those people who question the piston quality. You GOTTA jet it! Once you do it will make even MORE power.

  22. So…the guy who bashes dyno's as worthless….now uses them to prove something without "Track testing them" himself? I thought "Real world results" were all you ever said that mattered? MY testing was not Snipers. It was V-Force 4 reeds. YOU questioned the validity…..but I was 100% on point with what EVERYONE has reported. Even my jetting advice was spot on. I said it all first and the prototypes are still in my bike. Sorry…not a fraud. YOU have such a hard-on to bash Shearer (Even though you run them on every machine you have you hypocrite) Yet "I" have a double standard? Here is an idea……buy Snipers. I'm not dropping coin on different pipes now just like Dave5.0 isn't looking for a new builder since his Passion motor is down 5 HP from unported. (Go pester him to switch to Redline) FFS the V-Force 4's made bigger gains over the 3's than those Sniper pipes made over the Shearers. (And that power can be bought for only $200!) The Sniper comments I've made in the past were ALL about the actual dyno tests of OOF pipe that had been done by OTHERS! Members who had custom OOF pipes made and they tested them and were disappointed. YOU were offered a set for free. THAT pair had 3 owners before you! Why?….because the previous owners didn't want them after they tested them. But hey….how would I know any of that if I'm such a nobody? I was ALWAYS commenting on the fact that we NEVER saw any tests of the IN-FRAMES. One of the guys that was the biggest cheerleader for them was Dave5.0 and it turned out his entire build was down 5HP on power and he didn't even know! (So much for Butt Dyno input) So now you have a site sponsor that makes a pipe your a big fan of. All the fit, finish and power you have dreamt of. GREAT! Move the fuck on. Go have him make you a set for every bike you have and send those crappy Shearers on down the road. You're like a victim of spousal abuse. you keep telling everyone how bad he is…..…..but you keep going back to his product. Leave him and go win a hill climb championship with Snipers at your side. Me….I'm just reading an A-arm post when this lunatic comes in ranting about his pipes for the millionth time. Troll on.
  23. Who's griping? It was just a comment. In another post last week I was recommending Alba arms. Your memory must suck. I'm just surprised that they would have the same issue about ball joints this many times. Heck the Alba rep was on here talking about getting it straightened out for the one member that was having a hard time getting it solved. So i figured by now they would have gone and had a 5 minute talk with the guy who puts all the parts in the bag and boxes things up. I guess counting 2-uppers and 2-lowers is a challenge. What next... a full set of right side arms only? My pipes look great, fit great , have never cracked. Talk about double standards?……..Ever notice that the Shearer haters are all STILL running Shearers?
