Everyone runs the camp on "turbo" brand sparky spark arrestors. Or with some fab work, the toomey units.

BHP will end up sued and covering 1/2 the tow bill as well as 1/2 the cost to clean truck. The other 1/2 will be covered by the GPS provider in the joint lawsuit. Then the Dad will be sued by the son to provide money for the son to support himself since it is oppressive for the boy to have to live under the demanding rules of his parents household. Finally the police will be sued for causing the escalating stress of running flashing lights and arriving with a deadly firearm carried in a way to blatantly intimidate to poor young boy. As well as damages for the police's failure to call an ambulance to treat the poor, lost, confused and cold little boy who was just an innocent victim of a failure of technology. House should also be awarded to the boy since BHP chose to harass the boy by calling the police on him for no reason just because he discriminates against young people. BHP should be fired from his job since he made no attempt to search for the lost boy and simply went to sleep and was willing to let the boy freeze. (His firing will come from a local boycott of his workplace by locals egged on by major media outlets.)

They allow a 3dB overage. The rule calls for 94 but can't go past 97.

^^^^ For rewinds, Gary is the man. -
Yes! And with just 15 days till our ride, my buddy Bill is still working on a little Banshee project he's had since last fall to complete. Luckily he has all the parts nice and clean and ready for install. Unfortunately the next step involves a little product known as case sealer! Hopefully everone else is a little farther along in their spring ride prep efforts. LOL If not......I hope you use this weekend wisely.

My excitement today
WINDYCITYJOHN400 replied to 87sheestillkickin's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Was this a surprise? I would think the weather around the time of this might have been a clue…..but some areas a funny with the topography and water. But I'm guessing this isn't the first time that house looked like a decoration in a fish bowl. -
OK, you can settle down now. So far you haven't even shown you can MODIFY a bike. You paid good money for a bone stock bike brand new. (Hey some fool always has too. ) Of the parts you paid for from the factory……My top bike uses the cases (Modded), trans (Modded), brake calipers and master cylinders, steering stem bearings, seat foam, pan and latch, 6 factory nut/bolts, CDI and flywheel. So slow your roll. You're a little fresh on the scene to be throwing elbows. Stop trying so hard. If it's as easy as YOU make it out to be……for under $500 YOU could Buy/Engineer/Design your way to legend status here. Go for it. The clock starts NOW…….

is yours missing? Most do the stuffer mod. You can just buy the stuffer mod kit from some places…….. (The 3's work better with the modded stuffers on the 60+ HP bikes)

That's the same diet DDQ is always posting pics of! Alky haul. Not only is she more cut than Dave…she can out drink him too! Twin drink curls FTW. And she WON'T be going home alone.

Bird nest in the air box. LOL Metal on metal, bearings getting eaten by pistons and ports, rings snagging on exhaust port, ring lands broke off piston, piston warped from coolant wash, wrist pin cooked, ………kick starter gear snap ring popped off…. This list could go on for ages, ultimately the answers are irrelevant. you need to pull your head and tell US the answer.

You can run them……. Just ZERO chance you can run them at Silver Lake. LOL You need things like silencers AND spark arrestors.

Chain guide/tensioners options?
WINDYCITYJOHN400 replied to turbowrenchhead's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Then you have some issues. Chain too tight. Chain too loose. Axle out of alignment. Chain jumping teeth on the sprocket. Bent sprocket hub. Stock chain guide up at the swingarm pivot. Combos of any of those..... -
And if the sides are chewed up and worn....run a bead of weld down them. With any wear or bending on that stop, the wheels can flop far enough over that they can LOCK in that position. Once you're done....go buy a basic stick style steering stabilizer. You don't want your wrists to ever feel the force that bent your steering stop.

Chain guide/tensioners options?
WINDYCITYJOHN400 replied to turbowrenchhead's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
You NEED the rear guide. They come factory so I don't know why a skid plate wouldn't fit with it. You don't need a tensioner. Those are for people running real long swingarms. I run the Chariot unit on my bike with a +10 arm but don't need one on my +6 bike. If you broke a chain....sounds like you need a new chain AND NEW SPROCKETS. Stretched out chains ruin sprockets. Ruined sprockets ruin new chains. -
Way bigger and way more cut than DDQ.

^^^^ THIS! (Alot cheaper) Plus a +2 anit vibe stem and bars of your choice. Add an ASV Pro Pack for levers and a tether.

jetting 4 vitos ss pistons up high
WINDYCITYJOHN400 replied to Cory88's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
At THAT elevation????? I'm guessing you should try calling Vito's and talking to Lane. -
^^^^THIS Lonestar sport arms and Durablue axle. Can't go wrong there.

Lets hope we can skip past the part where the OP ignores the advice and decides to try it because of some budget excuse. Hopefully the idea will die hard.
