  1. check out these, they should achieve what you are looking for. Snop provided this link in a post a few months back... it's like a fancy banjo bolt that allows you to adjust the amount of pressure going into the individual inlet. look like you should be able to rig one up easy. http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.as...+115+4294918718
  2. go get some of that PB blaster shit next time, it works great. I had and axle nut that was stuck, i used every trick under the sun to get it loose. except pb blaster and cutting the damn thing off. so i bought some of that shit sprayed it on there, then waited 20 or so minutes then sprayed more on waited another 20 came back and it came right off.... I was like WTF.... it is good stuff.
  3. sand and rain = hard pack and good traction more like it. it wasn't a bad trip at all though. had a lot of fun. heres a like to my flickr account, tons of pics there. not really good ones though cause my digital camera is as old as i am ... we really didn't fight the rain to much, it was a bit chilly on a couple days. i was there from thursday to sunday http://flickr.com/photos/51293337@N00/sets...57605305326517/
  4. let me know when, i might be making one around then... not sure though, i should just be getting back from canada... MN to St Ants is one hellova trip... good luck
  5. haha, i was gonna say the same thing. only time i ever saw a key was on a showroom floor banshee.
  6. HEY ya'll, Headed north for memorial day to St. anthony's, if anyone will be out there let me know. we will have two banshee's one 250r and a 450r, and probably some other little crap three wheelers and what not. lets meet up and share a brew or go hit choke cherry.... we will be parking at desert oasis, from may 22-25 ...
  7. sorry we are going north to saint ants for memorial day.... more room, more fun. we should figure out another time that you are going south, and i will make plans for another trip
  8. I have always run just pegs, but i keep the teeth nice and sharp to help me stay on. i actually had my foot break through the webbing on a set of nerfs, it was a close call, if i had been on rough terrain i probably would have busted the shit out of my foot on rocks or something, but i was on a flat so my foot just dragged across the dirt for a couple seconds until i could pull it out.
  9. So not to sound like an ass, because i got a kid, and i can understand and all... but i see that title (to TITS in the AVIATOR) and i was thinking this was a porn thread... i was dissappointed when it wasn't.
  10. ^^ the info i got was second hand, but the pics were proof, and i could have sworn there was a lamb in there... my bad!
  11. ^^^ funny shiiit right there... I heard it was because MJ and Zach were seen kissing while riding their banshees together through fields of flowers and lambs
  12. I am in need of a water pump gear (plastic one) for a banshee, if anyone has on lying around or has one for sale let me know. bike bandit charges 10 for a new one, but another 8 for shipping, and they weigh like 1/2 ounce so i know some one can do me better. Thanks for looking, PM me, or reply here, i can paypal ASAP
  13. . great job man..... it takes guts and a clear head to jump on something like that. When i was 14, my dad and i witnessed a bad roll over on the freeway just a 100 yards in front of us, it threw 5 of the 6 passangers out of the car and landed upside down. 3 of them landed in the middle of the road, we pulled over but the guy behind us must not have been paying attention and he creamed the one on the farthest side of the road, kept driving by the way. so my dad and i jump out and start throwing flares in road the but people aren't slowing at all they are just swerving and wrecking into each other, so i ran into the road and grabbed the woman closest to me and dragged her out of the road and then right as i did that another asshole comes flying by right were she was laying, she was all sorts of messed up but still trying to stand up so i figured her neck and back weren't busted... the other guy in the road kinda dragged him self off the road during this whole ordeal and he starts screaming so i run over to him and he points to the car and there was a hand sticking out from under it... it was crazy, the sad thing was they were all totally trashed. and the only one that didn't have a scratch on him was the driver who was also drunk as a skunk, but had the presence of mind to put on a seat belt. only 2 of the 6 ended up dieing, and the police never found the person that creamed the guy, i always wondered if he was already dead or not.
  14. i am definetly down for a trip to meet up, i am in clearfield.... we head to st anthonys every memorial, that is my 5 day trip, but i wouldn't be opposed to meeting before that in may or april down at LS... i should have one of my banshee's running by then, if not i can always take my 250r.
  15. So i contacted Mossbarger and the new owners were really cool, I talked to Tiffany. she had me send a pic to them to make sure they were really mossbarger cages. She said they are way old school, but she did recognize them, she is sending new petals and screws, it was $50.... I have some stockers so i am going to run them and then switch over to the mossbargers and i will give ya'll a buttdyno report. Props to NYUK for the identification once again, and thanks to everyone for your help.
  16. thats a damn good idea, i have always just used an old belt.... how many plates did you weld together? did you just tack weld it or run a seam around it?
  17. the cylinders actually are ported mildley, so i will probably give it a try with and with out them...
  18. i will call them tomorrow then... whats the deal with the plastic things? should i run those too? they don't seem to attatch or anything, they just sit in there.
  19. so in your opinion are they worth it? Or should I just to buy some stockers and put some boysens on them?
  20. looking around in the website a little i found a pic of a yz reed cage that looked just like mine... so i am not sure... i sent an email with a pic to the email address and it got returned undeliverable, so i might have to call i guess. how do i contact TDR?
  21. you're awesome man, i will look them up now... was i right about the plastic insert things?
  22. also putting it in gear won't prevent it from spinning, you have to either have one of those pin gear place holder things like in the manual, or just put a belt around it and pull the slack the opposite direction
  23. the reed material is really quite thick, thicker than what i am use to seeing at least... i am not opposed to cutting my own reeds, i was just wondering if anyone has seen these before
  24. These are the reeds i pulled off the 89, i am not sure what kind they are, i compared them to some known stock reeds and they are different. stock reads only have one divide, these have two.... and i have no idea what the yellow plastic things are, they look like velocity stuffers or something??? one of the reeds has a corner busted off, so i am going to need to replace the reeds, if someone knows or has an idea let me know. that orange gunk was some kind of silicone gasket that had been applied in such copius amounts that i was sickened at the sight. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2016/227696..._0de9ba1a6b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2001/227696..._d42bcf08ce.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2238/227696..._3ca3ea2c4b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2390/227696..._30258473a5.jpg
