  1. i have a pair that is on it's last bore, actually they were just bored and honed before. someone i bought some parts off tried to port them looks like a little kid did it, i am sure a pro could fix them though... you can have them for $10 plus shipping.
  2. Hey Ya'll, I will be enjoying my memorial weekend at the St. Anthonys sand dunes may 27-30. gonna be in a marroon lifted ext cab dodge cummins pullin a white 19 ft Vnose enclosed. probably staying at what use to be desert oasis. gonna be rollin a few banshees a couple 250r's and some trx450's.... stop by for a beer and chit chat. http://www.idahodunesrv.com/index.php
  3. I will be there May 27-30! we usually go up a few times a year.
  4. I've run nothing but K&N's on all my quads and trikes for like the last 20 years and i have been fine. If you plan on a ton of super muddy or wet riding i would stick with the air box though. i ride mostly dunes and they have always been sufficient, i've ridden a lot of trails too and been fine, but i have to go super slow when i get to the water or big puddles.
  5. Hey Ya'll, Got a question for ya's... I need a pod filter for a 36mm PJ and 36mm PE, both have a 60mm air intake... K&N sells a 60mm inside diameter flange filter, but it doesn't seem to be for ATV applications. They also sell 57mm and 62mm inside diameter flange filters, which should i go with? I don't wanna stretch the flange to the point of it coming off everytime i hit a bump, but i don't want it to be so big that there will be gaps! any opinions on the uni foam filters?
  6. I prefer a thumb, but i grew up on bikes so i don't have problems with a twist... only time i get sick of a twist is when the dunes are really tore up, since i broke my right wrist it gets sore holding up the heavier front end and going through the punishing stuff. twists sure are a lot nicer in the colder weather though, in 10 degrees my thumb wants to fall off after 30 min.
  7. damn nice dude! that'll be fun shit when your done.
  8. last bump, going to ebay tomorrow... if you are lookin for an almost perfect set of T-6's throw me an offer.
  9. does anyone know where i can get one for less than the $80 that trinity wants, are there any out there that fit.
  10. lookin for a new or used intake boot for a trinity stage IV 2 into 1 intake manifold. let me know what you have, or if you know of another boot that works let me know.... thanks.
  11. The pistons are possibly ART i guess, or namura... the box of odds and ends that they came from, i was told namura, so i guess it's up to you! sorry for the confusion.
  12. Bump, how about 300 plus shipping for the pipes and stinger tubes.
  13. It shouldn't be a crank seal or intake boot if you were holding pressure with a leak down test.... take a look at the floats, but if she was running amazing right before the melt down that sounds doubtful too.
  14. I am gonna go with Dunes on this one, especially the St Anthony's dunes, there is a huge mix of big and small dunes and after the wind has blown over the dunes the witch eyes are horrendous and the razor backs are steep as hell, then you mix in the fact that St Ants has tons of lava rock, so it's not just a matter of flying off a 20 foot razor back, but you might actually land in a big old pile of lava rock that will Fuck you and your bike up... My buddies brother smashed his leg and CR500 into about 100 pieces out there because a razor back had a pile of rock at the bottom. It's ok to go slow in the trails but not at the dunes, if you are slow out there you will kill yourself.
  15. Cool, thanks Vegas, i appreciate the info.
  16. Sorry guys i did a couple searches and i must not have found the right combonation of words, but i need to know if a stock banshee axle and it's components like hubs and lock nuts will work with a round house style bearing carrier, i keep getting conflicting information? thanks!
  17. First up is a awesome set of T-6 pipes with like an hour on them at most, this chrome is almost perfect with the exception of a little bit of blueing on head pipe in the normal spot, there is only like one other spot that is even noticeable. this is for the chrome pipes and the chromed stinger tubes.... no silencers with these. lookin to get $325 plus shipping... can't get much closer to new than these! And last but not least is a pair of unused pistons, they are namura, I purchased them they were supposed to be for 1.00 over but as you can see from the 65.5mm reading they were not the right size, i put the cylinders on and turned it over a few times, then came to the realization that they were not the right size so i stuck them on the shelf to use another day, they should work fine for the correct size bore... lookin to get $50 plus shipping
  18. got what i needed TF7 hooked me up... Thread is closed
  19. TF7 is a great seller, i posted an add in WTB, he responded and within a couple days i have a new intake at a hell of a good price, i would not be afraid to deal with him again... shipping was hella fast too!
  20. that is pretty awesome!
  21. I have a near perfect set of chrome T-6's, no blueing, only about 20 minutes on them, only one noticeable imperfection in the chrome and you really have to look for it. i have the chrome pipes and chrome stingers tubes. no silencers on them but i have some we can deal for... let me know if you want a pic. PM me.
  22. it's HOT, i have sand blasted a dozen banshee frames and never had a vin blast off.... it would take a grinder or file to wear it off. if you know where the vin is supposed to be, get some paint thinner and apply it till all of the paint is off, then clean it off good and hit it will some heat from a torch, that should blacken the paint still in the vin number stamp, unless it has actually be ground off or filed.
  23. nice bike man, looks sharp and clean!
