  1. The Mad Scientist did my 421 cub... Butch (00tbanshee) can attest to how it runs. Very similar to his, but mine was "custom made" like Kevin describes he does to my liking. Let me tell you, I told him what I wanted, and he did it. I was told by 99.9% of people that the type of riding I do, a cub cannot, or cannot be made, to be the ideal setup. Kevin prooved all the doubters wrong, and made my motor one sick death wish of a machine. If I do grow the set and want more, he will give the motor another wakeup. I guarantee it. As with anyone else's. He is a step ahead and for good reason. Yes, tuning means alot. But you have to tune anything. Stock, piped, ported, cub, doesn't matter. Tune it and hold on. Kevin will have my motors from here on out. He treats me good, always likes to shoot the bull about the motor, and never makes me feel like he doesn't have the time. He's flat out a good guy to deal with. Ship a motor with confidence. Tell him what you want, and get what you want. Have no doubts.
  2. Footpegs back up for sale, as well as everything else
  3. +4 is more than enough to have fun with...
  4. Can someone post pics of these heat wraps on their bike?
  5. What are you guys asking for these and what shape are they in? Thanks alot fellas
  6. Seems like mixed results here...
  7. Not sure what I want to so here... those heat araps look bulky as heck. I thought there was some kind of tape to use, but if I need to get the heat wraps, I will.
  8. 1300 FT ASL... 70-80 degrees on the day I tuned her up 48 pilots, CEL on 3rd clip, 2 turns out on the air screw Got 160 mains in it, the plug chop says it is good, and the bike pulls hard throughout all 5 gears.
  9. Go by a dime's thickness... hold a dime to it. Color looks good. Along with the plug chop, go by how the bike pulls. Both of those are a tough tandem to beat for a healthy, strong running setup.
  10. Looking for a low presure tire guage (like the ones you get in the tool kit that comes with the bike) Let me know what you have. Paypal is ready to send you some cash...
  11. Ever since I installed this cub, the exhaust mounting is much lower than the stockers. Therefore, shifting the pipe and where they will run throughout the length of the bike. Needless to say, I got these Trinitys on and with thanks to Permatex, they are nice and snug. Problem though... the pod filters do not have much room. The left side is touching, but the right isn't (touching the exhaust that is). I just got my black outerwears today, put them on, and now I have the oputerwears in danger. Correct me if I am wrong, but I remember seeing here in the past where there was some kind of tape, a heat tape of some sort, to wrap around the exhaust for situations like mine here. Is this right? If so, where do I get it?
  12. Looking for a set of paddles for 8" rear rim
  13. Grab that suzuki. You will like it
  14. I'd recommend a set of Heavy Duty Springs for your setup. And maybe the Fast Clutch if you got the money to do that as well. Get a EZ Pull lever and call it a day
  15. I finally got my bike dialed in to where it needs to be after running it on the rich side for the first 2 tanks of gas. Running PWK's (33mm) Running really crisp and responsive with 48 mains, air screw 2 turns out. CEL on 3rd clip. Ran it before dark, and had 160 mains in it and it pulled nicely up top through the gears, and didn't show any symptoms of being lean or rich on top. I am betting I got the main pretty close. If anything, it's a size high I believe at 1300 feet ASL. It's running really good for sure. Still gotta sync the carbs though. What are you guys running on your cubs? I was talking with a buddy from here who ran 50 pilots and 162 mains on the dirt race track in his 421. I got a few buddy's loclally, however, running 45 pilots in their cheetah powervalves. Every bike is different however, Just thought I'd see what everyone is running out there.
  16. It'll sputter and run like shit.... take 'em out and have a look
  17. I have a stock fuel petcock as well, good as new.
  18. Need the top pivot bolt for the a-arms... the long one. Bolt AND screw. The one I got is on it's way out the door. Useable, but on it's way out. Let me know what you got Tony
  19. Seeing the light through them is a falsehood... especiually when discussing certain brands. If they are chipped or cracked, or bending, replace the fuckers. Good luck
  20. Footpegs sold... I also have 2 sets of rear tires I will let go very cheap. 22" dirt devils at 60%. They are for the stock 9" rims Also have 20" razr's at 50-60% as well. Just need them out of here, or they will go to the tire recycling center.
  21. You might be onto something there...
  22. Good to see you got the crank, good luck with it and enjoy. Thanks for the feedback.
  23. As in a pain in the balls...
  24. This below is my old Warrior. It was my trail bike, but I babied the piss out of it as you can see. Anyways, the color of the frame was called metalic candy red. The place that did this would be the place I would go through for my banshee. And this would be the red I would use. Below is my +4 swinger I got on. It is done in a grayish/black with speckles. If I was to go black, this would be the color I would go with. So basically those are the two colors I am choosing from right now.
