  1. What is a stock rear, 41? I believe I will try 16/41 to start... see what that gets me. Should be in the general ballpark of where I need it to be... with the 1-5
  2. I'd have to see HJR's setup get waxed in person to believe it... His shit runs, and takes the back seat to nobody. And if the customer service is topped, I'd eat crow. Out of those choices, Jeff or Kevin.
  3. Kevin is recommending a 17 front, and 39-42 rear. So that is definately where I will start, the 17 atleast. Any advice on the rear???
  4. I would have to say, in a nutshell, that is what I mean... more so along the lines of maybe getting 2nd gear to be what my 3rd was before, or the old 2nd gear screaming.... Gotta make the 2nd gear a good one hear... I need it to climb hills in 2nd gear... I don't think 1st is what I want lol Need the power, but can't widen it too much so it won't bog, if you guys know what I mean. Basically, need 2nd gear to pull and never stop pulling, and be a good width if you know what I mean. I think the cub will be able to pull the 16 tooth rather easily. Most likely will start there, and maybe play with the rear as time goes on...
  5. I ran Boyeson Power reeds on my stock cages when I was running a stock jugged setup... and it ran awesome.
  6. Was running a set of HJR ported stockers last year, with all the goodies to go along with it... gearing was 14/41 (or whatever stock is) and it was very nice... Now it gets tricky. Got a 421 Cub, Kevin ported it, cleaned up the ports, raised them a little, did some mad scientist work for my build so to speak. Anyways, will be running that along with a duneable 1-5 overide. So in order to get the gearing somewhat close to where I liked it before, in terms of how wide the gears were... Where do I start? 16/41, 16/40, etc. I am leaning towards a 16 tooth in the front... but not sure if I should change the rear. All advice is appreciated... the main concern here is to get the gear WIDTH as close to possible to what I was running with the 1-6 stock tranny...
  7. Crank $125... or it goes on ebay.
  8. Going to have Matt modify my linkage...
  9. It came right off the stocker... I was fearful it wouldn't work due to that sole reason. I figured I'd try it anyways and see...
  10. I got the +4 swinger on, and the shock and everything on the bike... Put the rear plastics on, and the thing sits really high in the back. Just seems like it sits alot higher than it did, although the bike seems like it will ride nice and stuff... What's going on?
  11. They are cracking down up my way In Mount Carmel/Kulpmont. Cops are chasing quads all over the place, and road blocks are appearing daily...
  12. Both sets od domes are sold... Pegs are sold... Make some offers on the swingarm and crank, they gotta go!
  13. Looking for 1-5 duneable overide...
  14. Yup, Kevin is the man... knows his stuff. He dune/hillshoot ported my stock cylinders last year... they ran hard. Other builders built the same motor for some friends, same exact thing. My bike ran circles around them. I am now running a 421 cub he cleaned up, and did some portwork to as well with a +4mm 115 Hotrods crank. I am in the process of putting her all together, and expect nothing less than phenominal power. I wouldn't, and don't plan on, using anyone else. He treats me good, as well as anyone else. Answers questions, will spend time with you on the phone, is always there if a problem arises. He is the go to man... and he's got some good help down that way too... so feel free to hand over a set of cylinders for him to make fly... Good luck
  15. Also have a set of 18CC domes if anyone would be interested...
  16. Thanks guys... I have to call Jeff this week, I'll have him send the chain out with the other stuff.
  17. Yup, just two bolt holes. I thought they missed the welding on the second bracket lol... I'll look into that kit... I really appreciate your response. Thank you very much for the solid info I was looking for...
  18. Where are you guys getting your longer chains? I am looking for one to fit a +4 swinger, having trouble here. Thanks guys!
  19. Got a few things to go here... Stock Swinger- Good paint, needs bearings. Looks good. With camps, pivot bolt, etc. $25 + shipping OBO Stock Footpegs- $10 + shipping OBO 17cc Pro Design/Noss Cool Head domes- Great shape, look new $35 shipped Stock Crank- $150 + Shipping OBO
  20. Got a swingarm from the swingarm shop, +4. The stock rear guide doesn't fit due to having 2 sides/holes. The newswinger only has 2 holes/1 side instead of two brackets like the stocker... What guide do I need to run???
  21. If anyone has one, let me know! Thanks
