  1. I'm still in the process of fine tuning it. I think I got it even better. What did you have your jetting set at? If these dont work out after all this shit im going with fatty's haha
  2. The center mounted muffler definitely looks trick... and sounds amazing. Like incredible. haha. But the alien, pretty much identical power with more muffled sound.
  3. That could very well be the porting on your bike. That will effect the way the powerband is big time. On a stock bike the SST's shouldn't do that.
  4. Yeah plus I read on an ATV site a professional review of them, and it was supposedly one of the best pipes they've tested. Sorry dude im just not interested in Fatty's. My dads bike which i get to ride a lot has them, and they're awesome trail/play pipes but not anywhere near the top end of the 916's. My pipes suck in the trails, but I don't want to give up too much top end just for trails since the coalmines are wide-open all-out.
  5. They're identical pipes.. only difference is the silencers. Which don't really effect the performance. 916's sound better IMO.
  6. I know how the Fatty's are.. the other banshee in the family has them. In my opinion, after riding mine with the DMC's so long, the Fatty's top out fairly early and don't scream nearly as much. More of a bottom-mid with some over-rev in my opinion. The DMC's don't come on till late and will rev out forever. I was looking at SST's because I want something with similar top end to mine, (maybe a hair less) with low-mid similar to the fatty.
  7. Where was the power range on the SST's..?
  8. Pics of the SST's would be nice. I don't want Fatty's at this point. Im thinking of keeping these but I may be interested in the SST's/
  9. Locations to the left under my avatar, haha. In located in Northeast PA. Price.. taking best offer because I don't know what to ask. Pictures, it's just a standard oversized balljoint. Not able to get pics tonight but possibly tomorrow. Used, but in good shape. Boots arent torn and joint is tight.
  10. I ended up buying new lower balljoints that fit the stock spindle mounts to get out of reaming so I have no use for these. 16mm shaft. For reamed spindles or you can ream your spindles for these. Joints are tight. $35 shipped
  11. I guess ill give this a shot. I have an Xbox 360. (newer version, no worries about the RROD) Excellent condition. Comes with (1) red wireless controller. Games are Forza 2, Baja, MotoGP 07, Tennis, NFS Undercover. Just checking to see if theres any interest as far as trades go. I would like ONE of these three things, but let me know what you have. Hotrods crank, ported cylinders, head.
  12. These are stock arms, not +2. I upgraded mine to +2 j-arms, hence the reason I want to trade these off.
  13. Nothing against you but for $40 I think I will just keep them as back-ups. You never know if ill wreck or something. Yeah I still have the J set up. I didn't want to do the conversion because I like things original and didn't want to hack at a perfectly good and straight J-arm frame. Plus the J-arm banshee's are 14lbs lighter. I bought +2 +1 Gibson/Lonestar J-arms from a member on this site.
  14. I wasn't really looking for cash as I was going to keep them on the shelf as back-ups... but I might consider it. How much were you thinkin?
  15. lol, you're the first person to agree with me on them. I had a set which I traded for these 916's. I think they sound like shit and have an odd hit to them. I just don't like em. Lots of people do but not me haha.
  16. Oh and the DMC's respond better to porting.
  17. I have DMC 916's, my father has Fatty's. Similar mod's otherwise. Power Curves- Fatty- Comes on a decent bit earlier then the 916's. Very smooth, broad hit for play riding. Smooth transition. Rev's fairly high but doesn't like to scream all that much. Fairly quiet. 916- Will chug along, but without much balls. Really starts to pull in the mid-range. Once you get into the upper mid-range, it pulls like a raped ape. A lot harder, more violent hit then the fatty. Pulls top end excellent. Very fun to ride in the powerband. Very loud, but sounds good. Drag- The FMF's usually get me out of the whole with their bottom end. But by the time I hit second gear I start pulling on him. It's not a tremendous difference but the DMC's do pull harder and are faster. Trails- The fatty's are an awesome trail pipe. Very easy to keep on the pipe and whip around. The DMC's will lug around tight trails, but not quite as exciting. Wide-open- The DMC's excel here. They pull so nice in the mid-range and up top. Makes for a blast ripping around in the open. My opinion- If you ride a lot of open places (mines, dunes, high speed trails) the DMC's are a nice upgrade. If you ride more trails and some tight trails, and just toying around, these are the better choice. I hope this helps ya out.
  18. I have stock J-arms off an 89 in decent shape. Balljoints are perfect. You have any aftermarket you can trade towards em?
  19. Well, I upgraded to +2 J-arms. I was planning on keeping these on the shelf as back-up in case I break the new ones, but curious to see if anyone has any interesting banshee parts they would be willing to trade for them. In decent shape. Shows normal scrapes and some small dents on the bottom of the bottom arms. (Not bad considering they're 21 years old) Ball joints are tight and in great shape. Only needs one boot. Not looking to sell for cash. Just checking to see if there's any interest? I would be interested in any aftermarket. Thanks
  20. Sorry, like I said I am pretty much set of keeping these now.
  21. I'm going to have to say no on the Gnarly's... that's TOO much of a bottom end pipe. And sorry not to be rude nos350x, but I can't stand T5's. I actually took a ride today, and I realized my problem isn't the pipes. Water was getting in my sidecase making it break up down low. They were actually pulling pretty good on the bottom today in the dry weather.
  22. Dude no offense, but come on. Why are you coming on here to ask these questions. NO ONE knows how you ride, how your bike runs, how your bike runs, how the weather is, anything. Only YOU can race him and report back with the results. If he wins, walk away. Port it. Then tell him to go riding with you. haha.
  23. We were going to deal, but when we found out how much the shipping was, he didn't have the money to pay for both and I didn't have the money to pay for my own. So, well, theres a set local I wanna buy but I need to sell these first.
  24. Bump again. Great pipes just not suited for where I ride and very loud.
