  1. A while back, my clutch just stopped working on my banshee. Like it lost pressure. When I pull the lever, you can tell it's not pushing the clutch plate out to disengage the clutch. It feels almost like it moved upwards, and I can pull it out of the case with my fingers. Not sure what happened. Any help..?
  2. I loved my DMC's. They sound absolutely wicked. The only thing is, not a very good trail pipe. I actually traded mine for FMF's recently because I needed the cash, and because of the fact I ride quite a bit of local trails. The bottom end completely sucked on the 916's, but once it hit the mid-upper mid, it pulled like a freight train. It just wanted to rev to the moon and keep on pullin' haha. Such an awesome feeling.
  3. I don't think the dynatek will effect the jetting. Spark/ignition usually doesn't mess with the jetting.
  4. Exactly! Thank you sleeper. The fact of the matter is, a stock piped banshee with other minor things will usually run great with anything in the 260-280 range. I can't help but think 300+ is way overkill when mine runs rich with 270's.
  5. I have no clue how anybody on this site runs 300+ mains on fairly stock bikes with pipes. I have DMC 916's, air box lid removed, K&N filter, and boysen reeds, and my bike runs rich with 270's and 27.5 pilots. I'm about to try some 260's soon.
  6. I'm looking for a stock crossover tube. For the intake. I can pay cash, or I will trade a White Bros boost bottle for it. Thanks
  7. LMFAO you have to love those guys going out and buying brand new YFZ450R's, putting fox evol x suspension on them, and getting whooped on by a stock suspended piped banshee. Goes to show how many people think the bike makes up for lost rider skill.
  8. Stock set of J-arms from a 1989. Ball-joints are in excellent condition, not loose and worn out. Factory silver. Comes with tie-rods. (No ends included) One side has a dent on the upper arm, but not that bad and perfectly straight. Normal wear and tear, as it is an 89. But they're still in decent shape and don't have all that much time on them. Looking for $100 firm pick up, or add shipping. Will also trade for some banshee aftermarket.
  9. Thanks bro! I love projects. I have so much less into this then I could have bought it for. Around 1500-1600 INCLUDING the price of the quad itself. But damn, she sure does take a lot of my time.
  10. Here's my baby. Stock rear suspension still, but up front I have +2 +1 Lonestar J-arms, with works triple rates. Next is an axle and hopefully a swingarm. Gonna try and run the full harescramble D6 series next year. By the way, it started out as this a little over a year ago when I bought it-
  11. The cutoff is around 2011-2014, I forget. (When the ban on selling 2-strokes goes in effect) But since the 450's are the hot sellers and taking over, they figured they would just cut it off in the US and kill the banshee gracefully, since it would have to be ended eventually. Im not 100% sure but I think thats the deal.
  12. That should be fine. I want to keep my rims anyway, so they match front and rear. haha. What town in CT do you live in? I'll google it and see how far you are. maybe we can pull a half-way type thing.
  13. Yeah, definitely get some pictures. Thanks.
  14. DMC. By the way, the DMC's are not a low-end pipe. Complete opposite actually.. The don't really come on until the upper mid, but once they do they pull like hell way up to the top. VERY fun pipe for wide-open type riding. Can't comment on Trinities. I rode Trey's bike (the 421) and they seemed like they had a really smooth hit.. but thats the only 421 I ever rode so I don't know. But if you do a lot of tight stuff, I don't recommend the dmc's haha.
  15. I have a set of aluminum white brothers front offset rims, with nearly brand new Holeshot XCT's on them. 23x7x10. GREAT trail tires. I'm looking to trade them for 21" tires on offset rims. 23" are too big for the style im going for.
  16. I have a set of UFO black uncut plastics front and rear on my banshee. With gray tank/rad covers. Plastics have N-style graphics on them. I'm thinking of maybe switching up my styling.. So seeing if anybody has the 2003 yellow/black plastic set, or 2006 anniversary set they would be willing to trade. If you have a whole set thats nice with a matching seat, ill throw in my gray seat with the plastics also. Located in PA.
  17. Such a tempting offer but I love my banshee too much. Good luck dude! Welcome back to the banshee.
  18. Pledge floor wax with ultra shine. The stuff fills in light scratches, and almost kind of coats the plastics with a protective coating. Oh.. and it's SHINY. haha.
  19. Any pics? And where are you located? I would CONSIDER trading my DMC 916's but not 100% sure yet.
