Did you mean you pulled the carbs off and cleaned or just pulled the pods and looked at carbs from there? May need to get into the carbs, check fuel lines.

Definately a good thought, this Banshee "parts buying" shit can be addictive and sometimes theres that part you need or just gotta have, so you go for it! hoping you can trust a fellow HQer. And I know by dealing with or by reading threads on here who I can trust and who I might not, which would be the ones coming on here for the first time to sell there items and not return. This is not a "FOR SALE FORUM" only, lets make it a little tuffer on them, put our heads together on this one.

How long is the chain, and how much for the chain & gears?

Im really wantin to come up there also, sounds like a cool place. About the hushkit,its not really considered a spark arrester is it? Id much rather have that than those funky lookin spark arresters.

My brothers got 05 450r and my buddies got the 700 with the programmer deal, the 450r has slip on and jetted with k&n 1 tooth up on rear and they run pretty much heads up. It would be a hard decision for me on the new 450s/ may have to try new kaw.

Plus its actually easier!

They do pretty well, I went with 686 kit and hot cams, still couldnt outrun the 450s stock.

Yea I tried to measure like about 5" on the links to see how many and doubled that and added to stock length about 114-115 but I just wanted to make sure. Keep your eyes open on this post bonbon, so you dont have any down time.

Did you buy those arms or did they come on the bike when you bought it, I think I would call the manufacturer of the arms and see what they say about it, maybe somebody slipped up on the assy. line.

Hey Guys, just need some help, trying to keep the Banshee available at all times while doing mods. I ordered my new 4" swingarm and was wanting to order my chain, so I was wondering if 120 link chain would work. I have 13/39 gears, I would go more to be sure I had enough but Rocky Mountain only goes up to 120 from what I have found in catolog & online. Got credit coming from them or else Id look somewhere else. thanks!

Need to get a little slack in your throttle cable now with the cable adjustments. / sping loaded screw/idle.

You have adjusted the idle screws I take it, I had no probs with mine idleing when I installed them, I dont even think I had to mess with the idle after adjusting the cables where they needed to be with just a little bit of slack.

Does it have any mods done to it? pipes, airbox lid, jetting, elevation?

Im not sure about the anwser to that question, but its good to see another HQer close by, Im out in Avon maybe we could hook up and ride sometime. Stock measures 1 11/16 outside, I couldnt get pods I bought for stock carbs to fit my 28s and didnt want to chance messing them up so I couldnt send back, so if there bigger than 28s Id say no way.
