im lean on my pilot jet.. but for now i want to get it started and running and not so worried about bogg off idle.. im having a hard time getting her started cuz shes lean.. how should i go about starting it? like.. full choke little gas.. hlaf choke no gas.. no choke full gas.. i think you get what i mean.. also i need part numbers for aftermarket pilots jets..

okay got my shee all back together with a new top end... its kind of a bitch to start.. im sure its do to jetting but is there any other thing that could make it so hard? second... my pipes look weird.. when i sit on the shee one is totally under the fender and one is higher and more out away from the fender.. is this normal or do i have a bent pipe?

i cant get the plate on the two bars.. i bent them in a little so it fits but it wont snap on all the way.. what do you use to get it on there? any techniques.. somthing im missin?

heat cycle? is that like running it on the stand til its warm then letting it cool all the way?

ill be getting my shee back together shortly and would like to know how you guys break your engines in.. ive heard ppl spend alot of time doing it right and some dont and hop on and run... id like to take my time with it to increase the longevity of it.. what do you guys say?

will the master cylinder and lever of a yfz 450 hook up to the old lines?

they arent only blued but there is like dirt that is like baked on ... ill see what i can do with your guys' methods..

got the old super strip from farm and fleet.. just got back from the stealership costin me 65 dollars for head studs and k and n recahrge kit.. damn they make some money

i know when i did mine it wasnt that difficult.. fromw hat i recall... i used a screwdriver to hold back the mechanism while i unhooked the cable.

using the famous aircraft stripper and the paint on the clutch cover isnt coming off.. a little started to flake.. our sand blaster is out of order.. what can i buy at autozone to get that shit off? the can says best used in 70-90 degress.. its 50 and no place to do it indoors. the stealership wants 40 bucks to strip it.. no no no.

i want to be border patrol when i get over for this reason. i love wisconsin everyone is german or irish... no immigrants... no problems.

got some chrome lrds that are burnt up.. how do i clean them up and looking better. i realize im not gunna get them perfect but just a cleanup without a rechrome or painting them.

i tore into my first engine to rebuild last month.. im soon goign to be putting it all back togther.. prolly by the end of this week. im looking for some advice on rebuilding this shee engine.. got any tecniques? is there any stubborn things to watch out for with these banshees? is there any things i have to do to make sure things go right? ive had some questions along the way but most have been answered.. thanks to BHQ. please help me out with things to watch for.

ok on the cometic head gasket and id imagine every other banshee head gasket there is an outdent on oneside and an indent on the other side. which way does it go? outdent up or indent up? my finger is next to the indent on the gasket.

couplex- i really didnt like that scheme at first but now i think im going with something alot like that. i think it makes it look clean with black on white.. im going to have black rims tho.. ill post pics when im done..
