  1. Ordered my Withrow 8 plate steel clutch basket today. Will give full report after XC race Sunday.
  2. 1 hour left on these. Please bid so I can go racing this weekend.

  4. Anyone have info on machining the inner hub and or pressure plate to run an 8 plate setup? Already running the Mattoon 8 plate basket and just can't swing the $280 for a billet inner hub.
  5. pics of airbox and filter?
  6. What series swhitey? Good to see I'm not the only one XC/harescramble racing a shee these days.
  7. Problem was there was really only one shallow line through the creek. I drowned out when I tried to pass a stuck quad as did so many others. After this, they rerouted. Lost 2 laps drying my quad out. returned on lap 4 and tried the creek crossing (just for the pure hell of it) when all the other quads took the go around and made it fine.
  8. Tried a new series out last weekend WEXCR. Wow, 130 quad field, 5 mile track for 2 hours. So first lap this guy stalls in the middle of a creek crossing right in front of me. I go around him on the left an fall off the continental freakin shelf. Pulled the tether and got it shut down before the motor sucked too much water but went down 2 laps pumping water out of the motor. Gave up and loaded it on the truck and figured I kick it one more time & it fired up. Got 2 more laps in and it’s a good thing I wasn’t the only one having a bad day. 3rd in class.
  9. Anyone have a vector graphics file (just the cutouts) for the Banshee they would like to share? Thanks
  10. VF 4 with good reeds and a rear shock 220# with 1" shorter arm GP and XC race

  13. OK PM me on the shock. Need some info on it like what it is set up for. Condition off shaft. Is it rebound/comp adjustable? Do you have some good pictures? Thanks
  14. Will you sell just the rear shock? Pictures.
  15. Picking up a 1987 KX500 motor this weekend. I looked at some dyno charts and this thing makes 62 HP at 6200 rpm. Hell, 6200 rpm is where a Shee is just starting to get on the pipes. I may just pop it in the Shee frame and do the 2014 season while I'm looking for a TRX, KFX or YFZ roller.
  16. A YFZ450 / CR or KX500 hybrid has always been in the back of my mind. Just need to figure a way to rubber mount the motor to kill the vibration. Also will need to come up with a slick way to rig a compression release for dead engine starts.
  17. Thanks all. Can I use my Chariot head with the serval? How will my DMC 916 pipes work with the 421 motor?.
  18. Pretty happy with suspension. Running 50% sag on the rear and relocated upper shock mounts to lower front end 2" Slides nice in corners, never bottoms out or packs up. What are the "PC's" you are referring to? Do the serval cylinders do better on the bottom than the cheetah cylinder with the power valves? Anyone like the Twister cylinder for torque? If I must go 4mm I will. Not that big a deal to drop in a crank.
  19. I want a bolt on monoblock that is going to give me the best bottom end with the mods I have (stock welded crank see sig) I'm racing XC GP one more year with the Banshee before I decide if I am going 4 stroke. I have done everything to the chassis I can and it turns great. Just getting beat out of the turns.
  20. Bought my Shee with a twist throttle and rode it like that for 8 years. Started racing GP & XC. Put a thumber back on and lap times went down. just my 2 cent.
  21. What about the Chariot cages vs the VF4's for bottom end?
  22. Going to race the Shee one more year before I get a 450. I need more bottom end and a smoother hit for GP and XC. Too much of that "Oh shit, tree" factor. SEE MY SIG for my mods. I'm running stock cages with 5 year old 2 stage Boyesens. What is the best bottom end reed cage setup? Also, should I be running my reed spacers between the jugs and reeds or between the reeds and carbs? Would like some sponsor input or someone that has done some dyno testing on reed setups. Thanks
