need a blaster stator let me know what you got!!
-
man, i forgot about this thread, it was more then warmed up, but the only thing i can think of is it just ran out of gas, i've been thinking of getting that dual pingle petcock but have been to lazy to make money lol
-
do you have a stator for the blaster? how much you looking to get for it if you do have it? thanks in advance josh
-
sounds like a compression issue to me as this is a big thing with nitro r/c cars, when the motor gets worn out and starts to lose compression, it doesn't like to run. But thats a nitro r/c motor which has sleeves that stretch and can be repinched, and when the sleeve stretches when it gets hot (heat expands the metal) it loses all compression on the piston, and when you let it cool off (the coolenss retracts the metal) it gains it's compression back just enought untill it gets hot again. But again, this is NITRO R/C cars and i've never had my banshee motor's compression to terribly low before i blow it up and need to rebuild the topend

you want feedback on yourself? if so, your a great guy to deal with thats very reasonable and basically an awesome person to deal with

cool beans, i havent run these tires on my shee because blasters have a diffrent rear bolt pattern an it just hit me to try changing the hubs, i didnt wan to run to my storage unit for nothing, thanks i'll most likely be bringing them home 2morrow just to try em on lol
-
just as the title says, will blaster rear hubs fit on a banshee axle? i have mudlites on my blaster and some Trac Stars on my banshee, an while the blasters down i thought i would try put hem mudlites on mine so i dont get stuck so often out in the swamp thanks for your replies

important ? from a new banshee owner

well, if an when you go through water, make sure your motors not taking any in, like if ur stator cover happens to be a little loose, it might take in some water(had it happen with my blaster) an make sure the splashing from your bike doesnt get to close to the airbox inlet, basically banshees don't like water but dont let it stop you, when she shuts off from suking water into the carbs, you know your limits -
how much you looking to get for them cylinders?
-
i guess i'll try and get another tester my times wer mid to low 9's in the 1/8th, but spinning off the line and just getting into 6th at the line, i was running about 67mph

my first race at moroso in Palm Beach Florida, was tons of fun and i got to run with 1 other banshee and a 450r. As you can see this is an old vid, i was just looking at it and figured i'd show you guys. also, you can see the crazy amount of tire spin i was getting. About a week after that, i got a cool deal from highroller on this site and got some hoosiers they hook so good, but my track hasn't been open to quads in a while and now i'm sitting waiting on a new topend. I've heard about another track in miami that i really want to go to that once my topend is back together i might end up going down too, oh well guys give me your thoughts on this, i dont want an all out drag bike, just something i can take out and run at the track against some buddies every once and a while i also have since got a Pro Design Cool Head with 19cc's that bumped my compression up to 190lbs on each side that i have yet to run w/ the correct race fuel

well, i'm guessing ran lean on the right side slight crack next to wrist pin jettings the same in both carbs, TORS tops still installed but the tors system is disconnected, i ran for about 5-6 hours yesterday and on my way back this happened. I put it through it's paces out there with lots of low gear mud running and spinning alot. I did a bunch of high speed passes and i've got a whole bunch of miles on this topend rebuild, i know i have atleast 300 miles on it, not sure how many hours on this topend but it's been running good. But why would only one side have gone out? the other side looks fine, alittle carbon build up but nothing that seems to unusal. When this happened, i had someone on the back with me and maybe that was too much of a load for the motor? Between us there was roughly about 375lbs if not more. But i'm assuming this must be a jetting issue. Oh, and also when it cut out on me, i heard the water in the rad bubbling so i know it was hot, but could that have been from the extra load that it's not used to? I wasn't riding it any diffrent then I ususally do, about half throttle in 6th gear. thanks for your time josh

i've seen it done tons of times, i just dont know how much i would trust it, but you can use a ratchet strap form the lower a arm on one side, over the frame under the plastic to the other sides lower a arm, seems unsafe if your using old ratchet straps or cheap ones, but if you get ones that are rated with a high breaking rate i guess its worth a shot

i love comcast!! might be because i get everything immedetily and the best of it because my dad works for them

a little off topic, but can i see a pic of your shee with them gators on it? i really want to see a banshee with some 22in gators -
where'd you guys get those, all the ones we have here seem to be thin compared to what you have and if you hit it the wrong way the pole breaks right at where it goes into the mount, which of course isn't reusable, the ones we have here are basically the flags you buy from wally world for little kids bicycles
-
i know we have seen and probally said some pretty cheesy pick up lines and they are pretty funyy so post up what you got, i'll go first. are you retarded? cause damn girl, your special!
