  1. Sent you another PM. Thanks again.
  2. Bought a complete YFZ 450 front end off of him. He was easy to deal with, the parts were in great shape, and he even went out of his way to meet us 2minutes from our shop. Would gladly buy from him again.
  3. Thanks again for the setup and meeting us. Everything looked great.
  4. Almost forgot. As for pulling the hoop back to the correct position, I used a Heavy duty rachet strape and parked the bike's front bumper against a pole and had someone sit on the bike while I cranked the strap down.
  5. No I'm talking about the brace on top of the hoop. The brace is used to secure the top of the steering stem to the bike. My measurement was based off of the inside of that brace closest to the seat (rest the tape on the hoop and pushed up against the brace) and to the outside of the seat brace (towards the back of the bike). Hopefully this helps. If you are still stuck I'll tear the bike back down and take a picture for you.
  6. I just did the same thing tonight. I measured from the cross brace (the top of the bar and pressed the tape up against the bracket on top of the bar) to the brace where the seat slips under and got 16 5/16". If it makes you feel any better I destroyed my right upper 450 A arm, the Steering stem, that brace, and ruined my friends (the bike I hit) Upper and lower a-arm, Rotor, spindle and maybe some wheel bearings. Also the typical injurys to myself as the result of being thrown 10-20ft after we hit.
  7. Same needles, jets, and pilots. 310 main, 27.5 pilots. Both tweaked for the best performance
  8. I'm the brother and owner of the slower bike. Everything on the bikes is the same, sprockets, tire size, clutch, head/domes, etc. I've tuned both bikes, and spent many hours trying to improve on mine just to get back in the race. The only thing I can come up with is maybe it has Blaster pistons and a 4mm crank that the previous owner was un aware of (pistons where marked standard bore). Also Both bikes show no sign of any porting. At this point I'm kinda pissed he has the ringer since I picked out and paid for both bikes (my brother didn't even see the bike untill I showed up at his shop). Has anyone noticed an increase in power by running 2-3 degrees advanced opposed to the 4-5degrees everyone recommends? I still can't imagine the gains being that much.
  9. What's even more disturbing then the filthiness of ball pits, is people continuing to believe, and pass on urban legends. The initial post has been going around the internet for years now, in different forms, and is complete BS. I'm guessing the "Ball pit" one was created in light of the one *ACTUAL* article written on the subject where they took swab-samples of ball pits and found traces of feces, vomit, etc.. Guess what? They also ended the write-up with admission that these things were found in almost *EVERY* type of children's play areas. Children are not really the cleanest people....
  10. Nope, no PM in my in box. Just checked it again right now.....
  11. How long have you been waiting on this stuff? Unless I'm missing something, it seems like it's been over a month. This kinda worries me. We build things that are a lot more complex over the span of a day---my point being that if it's taking a month for (1) unit to get done, I'm worried how long it will take after he starts actually getting orders. Please tell me that I'm missing something here. The price is decent, and I'd rather buy one then have to make one myself. I'm just not going to wait months on end.
  12. I have one laying here from the Banshee we are parting out. Make me an offer.
  13. BTW Sorry for the lack of pictures, I was running all over today before we left and forgot the camera. I'll snap some pics this coming weekend.
  14. Sounds like a Plan, Do you have a decent area to ride (any area is fine)? My brother should have his Banshee up and running in a couple weeks. Let me know of a spot/time and I'll make sure I haul my Banshee down to work with me that week.
  15. I'm located in the Eastern Pa area, and ride the coal mines of Mt. Carmel. It's private Property but the people who own it could care less about ATV riders. I've been riding the area for years without any hassle. Probably 20 sq miles of riding. Maybe I can snap a few pics pics of the trails and hill climbs today since I'm heading over there. On another note if anyone has a spot to ride close to the Philadelphia area I'd love to hear about it. I work in the Philly area all week long and I'm looking for a place my brother and I can ride during the week (he lives in Lansdale).
  16. 2003limitedBanshee, What can I say? Great seller, sells an awesome 450 YFZ a-arm kit, fast to ship, parts were in perfect condition as discussed. Only down side to this sale was that he didn't have any front shocks laying around. Thanks again!
  17. Just wanted to say my experience with Letha face was great. Bought a thumb throttle off of him, Was in great shape, and delivered fast. Thanks again.
  18. Brian, I just wanted to let you know I received the kit today, everything looks great, and in a few minutes I'll be out in the garage tearing into the bike. Thanks again. BTW: let me know if any shocks turn up.
  19. I would like to pick up a set of the 450 A Arms with the Noss tie rod ends. . Also if you have another set of shocks laying around I'll take them.
  20. I'm in need of a Banshee thumb throttle and any other hard ware I need to swap my bike back to a thumb throttle from a twist throttle setup. This weekends wreck has made me realize that the twist throttle is not really that great for hard trail riding (flipped my Banshee and then had it run me over). Would like to have it for this weekend if possible. Thanks for the space.
