  1. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...t=0&start=0 Here is the write up on the 450 arms. If you don't already have a set of arms, let me know. I plan on selling my arms, that have already been cut and have the spacers (They are off of an 06 and have been powder coated). I also have a set of shocks as well that have been set up for 175lb rider on a Banshee.
  2. I think I would stay with the stock coil. I picked upthe Nology Coils/wires a year ago and really didn't see much of an improvement. I ended up selling the Coil setup to another member on here only to find out that the setup had died. I returned the money and had the person send the coil back. Once the coil came back I checked it over and decided to verify it had died, and sure enough it was dead. That coil had maybe 30hrs of riding, Nology and the shop I purchased it from were unable to do anything for me. Like I said before stay with the stock setup, it works well and is a 1/3 of the price.
  3. You may want do a little research. There have been quite a few C5 "Z06" Corvettes that have dipped into the 11's (We are obviously not talking about the Standard C5 Corvette with the LS1 motor) on stock tires, and even more that were running on DR's. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=1549325 Now many of C6 Z06 have run low 11's in stock form and some have dipped into the 10's. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=1794944 Onto the EVO sucking ass. I'll once again have to disagree with you. I personally know quite a few EVO owners putting down 500+ HP on pump gas, Stock ECU, with just bolt ons and being daily driven, EVO's making 900+hp with Built motors running low 9's high 8's on the stock driveline (a couple guys still doing it on the original rear, and transfer case). On another note an EVO is not a DSM. DSMs were only the Eclipse, Talon, Laser, Stealth, 3000GT (the rest are Mitsu's). I'll also point out that have personally made 500hp on a stock internal Long block made 100's of low 11sec passes, seen EGT temps in the 1400degree C, ran 35+psi on Pump gas and still was unable to get the motor to pop on my old Talon (Did this for quite a few years before pulling the motor out to build it). I'll also point out that the 80K mile EVO's seem to be in much better shape than the 80K mile C5's I've seen.
  4. East Coast ATV is 20minutes away from you (Quakertown area). They have built a ton of quick drag bikes, and many of my friends have had motors built by them with positive results.
  5. Throw a pulley, exhaust, chip, K&N and a set of drag radials and you have a nice low 11sec, 500hp pump gas car. Down side is you may want to consider an aftermarket girdle after that since the block is know for flexing. I think you'll enjoy any of the following cars.
  6. EVO or C5 Z06? Since I have driven and beaten the piss out of both cars, my choice would be the Z06. The Z06 handles great, makes a decent amount of power in stock form (brother's went 12.02@116mph with a clutch that was slipping most of the way down the track),Very easy to make more power, is comfortabe to drive and will hold it's value so much better than the Evo. The Evo handles like a go cart, has a better interior, motor can make 500+hp to the wheels with just bolt ons (stock internals, stock ECU) on Pump gas, Drive line will hold up if you properly set up the suspension (Avoid the EVO 9 MR 6spd), and the car can easily be found for $15-20K in decent shape. Down side is that the EVO's are really getting beat up by all of the young kids that buying them, the ride is rather harsh, and car will be dropping even value even more now that the EVO X is out. Also the car is not nearly as cool as the Z06 (EVo's are very common cars) The Down side of the Z06 is cheap GM interior, Car tends to rattle (even low mileage Z06), Expensive to upgrade, looking at 25-30K for a Z06 in decent shape/mileage, Trans is rather expensive to replace (Brother kept insisting I stay it), if you don't properly jack the car up you can twist/crack the fiber glass body panels, Plenty of little electical problems. I'm sure which ever car you pick you'll be very happy with.
  7. I know someone is looking for a well built Banshee.
  8. I was considering trades in the begining, but now only taking cash. Good luck with you sale/swap, I'm sure somebody will be willing to take you up on your offer. Very clean 450r
  9. Most people are never happy with what they have. If the Bike doesn't sell I'm sure I will be adding more parts to it. BTW your bike looks very clean, keep up the good work.
  10. I just sold my Nology coil this week. I did notice easier starts and it seemed to work well.
  11. Thanks, I'm still trying to figure out a way to keep it. After riding it this weekend I really don't wanna sell it. Price is going to stay $4,500 firm no trades. If it doesn't sell atleast I can tell my girl that I tried to sell it.
  12. Case is ported not trenched. Sorry for any confusion
  13. Dave, you caught me. All of the late night trips to the tanning bed are really draining my wallet, Someone please buy this bike so that I no longer have to walk around as a albino that glows in the dark.
  14. Will consider any reasonable offers and willing too deliver up to 100miles
  15. Nope that was my AWD best to date with the car was an 11.30@127 with a 7yearold OEM motor, a 60trim turbo that was seeing 23psi off the line and would drop to 18psi by redline (Blown turbo) , On a roll I would have no problem seeing 30PSI which would have no problem burning the tires off in 3rd. The Setup the car had in the pictures never made it to the track or dyno (I would have expected atleast mid 9's) but will never know due to being parted out shortly after being finished. The turbo in the pic was a Turbonetics T-72
  16. I will consider trades (YFZ 450, Banshee, Quadzilla, Honda 450R) plus cash.
  17. Pic of the 2 into 1 pipe Video of me racing my brother (his motor was ported by HJR as well) 2into1 pipe really didn't help me for this race. I'm the bike on the inside. http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f115/Cra...NewVideo007.flv
  18. Video added was taken a couple months back when I was running the holeshot rear tires that only have about (20% of the tread left) I will try to take a couple more pictures this weekend and maybe grab a video of the last ride I take on this bike. http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f115/Cra...08MtCarmel3.flv
