  1. ok.. will a 4 mm crank with a play port be cool for fireroad trails? i know how to get the power to the ground. But do i need to... do anything to the head? cool head 21cc domes. can i basically just drop this thing in? ( with the things i need to get it to the ground, i know) or will it be more for drag? do i need to shave aything or something? cause i really dont want to do that... but really imma probably not going to buy this im just kinda curious. edit- basically this is what i saw "Banshee 4mm Hot Rod Stroker Crank With 5mm Long Rods, ~ Includes Wrist Pin Bearings" thought i put that in there cause i didnt include the 5mm long rods.
  2. i live in az so i think im somewherer around 0-1500 range. and i think its the original top end from like.. 20 years ago XD XD XD XD took the cylinders out and they have huge scratchs down the side... if i told u what the compression came out to be u would all make fun of me so lets just say.. i need a new top end and the compression iz LOOOOW. ( yea yea im working on it) :shrug:

  4. ok ima type this really fast. i have k%n bolt on pods, 38mm keighns, going to get cases ported by fast along with cylinders (play / dune), vf3's 21cc cool head, +4 timing, AND T-5'S ok theres a dude on a website in my area whos wanting to trade his shearers for t-5's? i know this wont be around long so i need immediate feedback! shold i do it?

  6. MY COOL HEAD FINALLY CAME! ok so my question is this.. i been running 91 octane premium pump gas on +4 timing. can i keep running this with the 1cc cool head and the +4 timing? anything else effect compression that i didnt know about? i had no idea timing effected compression! O.o
  7. Both of the R's are excellent begginer racer bikes for the little guys moving up in the class. My dad has a lt250r and a zilla and theyre both pretty bad ass.

  9. cool head 21cc domes 300 +10 timing plate set to +4 30 Bigger then stock carbs with k&n pod filters 250 vf3's 300 pro design impeller 60 well those are the first thigs i would get.

Ok.. i was sorta just wondering.. since imma have my cylinders bored, ported, and polished, are there any aftermarket cylinders made for a dune/play/trail like jeffs porting, and that are SHINY :woot: i was looking at cubs but those are drag motors. t rex.. dont know much about it. Thats all i got.

  13. OK i gots +2+1 A ARMS. should i get a +2 axel with it too? ( also dumb question) +2 axel is +2 overall or +2 on each side? (n00b) i think it might handle funny without +2 all around
  14. ok.. im sick and tired of my arm killing me when i go riding. The HD clutch i have on there works great and doesnt slip with the 60+ HP, but its really bad. So to lighten the pull up a little, ive decided to buy a magura hydrolic clutch. For those who own these, how do they work? is it easier?? how does it feel? Does it feel like front brakes or does it feel like cable. ( front brakes it goes and gets harder to pull and doesnt go all the way in) Does it work the same way? do i need to buy anything else with it?

  16. OK what i have here is some ALX nerf bars. They have some normal wear and tear on them. They fit my 1989 yamaha banshee but i would imagine they would fit the other years. I have the hardware but youll have to pick up some extended bolts at the hardware store. they were on there when i bought them, i took them off.. bought some shorter bolts at the hardware store to fit the footpegs right.. and i sorta lost the longer bolts. =) The bolts are only like 2 bucks a piece. 100$ takes em. http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/2122/nerfbarsev5.jpg its a biiiiig photo so i couldnt fit it here.
  17. yea pretty much the title says it all.. almost everyone i see has theyre banshee plastics race cut and i honestly cannot see why. i wouldnt care either way but is theyre some sort of advantage to having race cut plastics? all i can see it doing is flinging dirt sand and mud in ur face.
  18. lol someone replyed right before i said something XD well see the problem is that i ride lots of fireroad trails and a +4 swinger will decrease the tractiona nd aparrently make it handle shitty ( or so ive heard) if i went with anything id be a +4 because i do mx. I want the stock swinger but people are saying its gonna be outta control.
