for as shitty an unreliable these banshees are .. mine far outlasted my friends raptor 700, a yfz 450, and a trx450r in terms of repairs and maintenance when we all started riding i never heard the end of it, how my banshee would "blow up' and "break down" all the time, while they all had new 4 strokes i towed each of their quads back to the trucks many times with my shitty old unreliable banshee , you gotta love it just dont stoop to their level and make fun of them when their shit breaks or youre no better than they are, and you know how fucking annoying people like that are

there are reported spark plug "problems" with both versions of the 5.4, and the old v10's.. apparently the 2v's have been reported "blowing spark plugs out" although very uncommon, and much more common on the v10s of that era, and the 04+ 3vs have a problem where they break off and get stuck in the cylinder head often when trying to change them the 2v's make their peak torque lower in the revs than the 3vs, and peak numbers arnt far apart either (2v=350 @ 2500rpm vs 3v=365 @ 3750rpm) they didnt increase their claimed peak torque numbers on the 3v until 2009-2010 when they upped claim output to 390ft lbs either way the new 2011 TT v6 ecoboost puts them all to shame with 420ftlbs @ 2500rpm
