  1. well i know lonestar makes awesome stuff, and i have had asr's on my blaster and i beat them and had no problems at all, and my friend bent one of his after he had a crash, sent it in and in a week had a new one no questions asked, so the warentee is good. I would say if he is going to be for real on the track etc then go lonestar, but if he is romping the trails and hitting the track once in awhile etc, asr is a nice cheap alternative... Ben
  2. yeah looks nice, looks like teh same taillight as the 05/06 zx6r lol. But as for fi, yeah you need a power comander or simmler when you do engine mods and you need maps for them so it runs better. Aftermarket companies i am sure will make maps for their pipes etc, so not to worry, just need to buy a fi controler. Ben
  3. no, its for nitrogen not compressed air like the tires. You should be able to adjust the spring to make them a little stiffer. Ben
  4. I sent a blaster motor in a milk crate with a plywood top zip tied on and then a box around it for $35 via ups from NY to MA which isnt far but w/e And i shipped my frame etc to from NY to Ohio to my sponsor for PC for $35 wrapped in bubble wrap. I use ups as no fedex locations near here and they always fuck up my shit when i get it as they dont really deliver here they have a person they hire to do delivers and they do it when they feel like it and deliver to the wrong houses....anyways, ups is pretty good on big stuff for prices if you keep the weight down and or the deminsions down. I sent an entire pimped out ttr50 with alot of aftermarket (thus much bigger then a regular 50) i did to it to OR from NY for $150 as it was 150lbs which was good.... Ben

  8. a guy on ebay is always selling ss extended brake lines that fit most streetbikes, i bought one for my zx6r project, they fit most all bikes besides suzukis. Other then that you could call galfer or muzzy etc.... How long does it need to be i have some rubber lines from front brakes from different street bikes that are pretty long i could give you for the cost of shipping which is like $5... Ben
  9. Well i have seen them break before and its not good, i wouldnt waiste my money on that shit in a million years, if you want cheap extension for the a-arms just buy some yfz arms for like $50 or less on ebay... Ben
  10. used to run vp c12 in my mx blaster, worked great, i still have some left and throw it in my streetbike from now and again lol... Ben
  11. on my lrd on my blaster i used castrol super clean and let it soak then hose and it worked good, also you can tap it with wood once its saturated with superclean and it should pop out. Give it a shot couldnt hurt to try it... Ben
  12. well i see the yfz stuff go cheap, shocks for around 100 and aa-rms for like $30 you just need to look in the right places... Ben
  13. ah thats why i am buying a banshee, to keep my crazyness to the dirt like it used to be. I dumped the bike not to long ago (showing off...) and decided i would make it a complete custom and rid myself of some toys and buy another quad to try to be less reckless on the road... Ben
  14. +1 BTW trick, how those treating you? And i see you moved on from the blaster to a shee.... Ben
  15. really i think it depends on color, i paid like less then $300 for pc in transparent blue and blasting for my blaster frame, blaster roundhouse swingarm, and upper LT arms. I think that was pretty good, but when i get my shee i want to get alot of stuff pced but i need to find somewhere more local if i can, last time i shipped all of it off. Ben
  16. you can do it for free, i made a DIY on planetblaster awhile back, but i hate when people say the oil injectors go out on blasters because they dont if you keep oil in the resi etc... But just remove the clutch cover and take out the oil pump gear, and then take out the little pump on the outside and leave the screw stund thing in there, and remove oil line and put a tiny bit of jb weld or simmaler over the oil injector line on the carb and you are set. If you want to use the injector you should be fine with that too, just prime it by loostening the screw on the bottom of the pump and make sure there are no bubbles and fill up the resi and you are good to go. Ben
  17. kicking it over with the plugs is not a good way to tell if you have spark, you need a certain amount to make it run. But anyways, i had a simmaler problem with my old race blaster and it ended up being the flywheel key sheared and it would stay in the right spot for a sec then spin when you reved it out and backfire and stall out. Just an idea... Ben
  18. thanks for the comments, and no thats not the street thats a driveway to a house up the hill, so its next door actually lol... Ben
  19. Just saying hey, new here, i know a few members from other sites on here i think from when i had my blaster like trick2stroke (blake), and bansheenut (well i dont know if thats his name on here) etc, but w/e. I will soon have a banshee as i just gave the kid $300 of the $1000 he is letting it go for (sick deal, it sat for 2 years and he just wants it out of there when ever, has fmf pipes, 2 into 1 carb kit, beadlocks all around etc! 03 also). I used to have a sick blaster, but parted it out, then i bought a ttr50 and made it sick, then i sold that and got a zx6r, that i just completely re-did. Here are some pics of my old blaster, old ttr50 and my 98 zx6r almost done from winter build up. Ben
  20. Well i would have to say its not easy to make that decision, i sold my tricked out blaster for my 50, then built it up, and then decided i wanted a bike, so i bought a zx6r and had to sell the tricked out ttr50, and now i regret it as i only have a bike and its no fun when its cold or shitty weather. I love my bike to death and i am buying a banshee in a few weeks (all ready gave depost to the kid) and i will have the best of both worlds, but i dont think you should sell the shee to get the bike...
