Just purchased the a-arms and shocks from a yfz450 and will be doing the install very soon. I think the only thing needed for the conversion is the spacers, tie rods and some cutting of the lower arms, am I correct? Tried to PM Brian who sells the kits but unable to send him a message. Brian chime in please! I need some of your parts..

Def. check to make sure the choke tube is running across from one carb to the other.. Its not the crossover tube on the intake, its the one running from carb to carb. Mine ran like shit and wouldnt idle till I figured that out. Had pressure comming from the exhaust on the left carb but the right carb barely had anything. It's most likely something to do with the carbs/tuning. Good luck!

I just bought a used hot rods crank with one season on it. I'm going to replace the upper piston rod bearings and outers but should I have it welded?

Peter.. Yes the Hex nut on the bottom is the Main jet. Should be some numbers stamped on the top of the hex head. I'm not sure what jets are supposed to be in those 2 in 1's but that would be where the main jet is, the biggest one in the middle.

My banshee is down right now due to a blown rod bearing and have been accumilating parts to upgrade. Other than the items listed in my sig I've decided to go with an aggressive trail port, hot-rods crank trued/weld(stock length rods), 20cc domes, lightned flywheel and weisco pro-lites. I was told to go with larger carbs but not sure what ones to go with. I ride mostly trails at the moment.. Will I see a big difference with the port job and larger carbs? I already know the port job will wake it up but whats your thoughts on carbs? I also live in New England which means rejetting frequently is a must so I'm looking for a set that is easy to tune.
