  1. Sorry to get off topic, but why are so many of the people on this site such hard-ons lately? I know that nobody cares about his ticket or that what he did wasn't exactly legal or "safe". But I mean, come on, I bet 90% of the people on this site have ridden on a public road on their quad at some point. He was just blowing off some steam with some people that he thought would understand. Chill out...
  2. i hvea no ide a wht is go inge on rt new?
  3. I hate to talk smack on a new banshee owner, but he may be waaaaay to anal to own a banshee. worrying about using 40:1 to get back out of the trails after running out of gas? Come on, man. Stop worrying about it so much. Getting you back was the purpose of the fuel you borrowed. If you want to make sure you have race fuel in it, drain it out and move on. Put the fuel in the weed wacker. 1 year or 10 hours? Man I would feel bad if I only put 10 hours on my banshee in a year.
  4. http://www.myspace.com/djborrello here is my lame ass myspace. anyone with a banshee is a friend of mine!
  5. I ride pretty much all trails on my stock banshee and have never had any problems fouling plugs. Once in a while it will feel like it loads up, but ripping through the gears cleans it up. I have never really had it overheat. I have noticed that it spits out a little coolant after a day riding, but not that much. Banshees kick ass!
  6. That thing look's mean! Tire choice is a touchy subject on here. If it works good on your terrain, who cares. Keep up the good work!
  7. I have heard about a place to ride on the penn/west virginia border. Do you about such a place? I spend alot of time in Finleyville.
  8. Sounds like a lot of bs. Racing for pinks? This isn't the 50's or some corny tv show. 120 in the the 1/4 is probably a low 11 second or high 10 second pass. That would have to be a pretty serious Kaw400 for that kind of time. I would call his bluff. I am sure he has the baddest quad on his block.
  9. Anybody from the Pittsburgh area?
  10. Yeah, I think its about 40 miles east of the ohio border. I-80 to I-79 south, then a few miles. Yes, that is where the outlet malls are.
  11. The trick for hills seems to be to hit them as balls out as you can, given whatever approaching room you have. I guess if you are up on the pipes at that point, you shouldn't have to worry too much about being below the "hit". Yes, from what I have seen, Toomeys seem to be pretty nice as far as craftsmanship goes. Since I only plan on the mods listed in the last post, I should be on the right path.
  12. I see a lot of recomendations for T5's. Toomey claims that the T6 has more low end. Is that BS? I also want a set of pipes, and don't really plan on doing alot of mods to my banshee, maybe a milled head down to 20cc's, water pump, etc. Is the T6 really better for a stockish shee or is it just hype?
  13. I should be game. I am north of Pittsburgh and work in Grove City, so it isn't too far for me. It will have to be in a few months, because it is waaaay too cold right now to even go outside! Have been riding quite a bit this year with the warm weekends we have been having. Anything above 40 is cool. Actually rode the past few weekends.
  14. I am from the Pittsburgh area. Anyone else? Lots of good riding within a 1 hour radius! Unfortunatly crashed pretty hard last weekend attempting a hill climb and broke some stuff. Should be fixed in the next few weeks, though!
  15. How about "Smoke Banshee" by Clutch? Kind of fitting, no?
