  1. Sounds like you just had a bad seller. As long as the deal goes through Paypal there should be no worries. Some sellers are more secure or insecure in certain instances than others though so to each their own I guess but to not sell something to someone because they aren't "verified" is just ridiculous. If being "verified" mattered that much then Paypal would require it. Hopefully the seller that back-tracked on you realized that.
  2. I know you've got good intentions with this thread but people need to keep in mind that everyone has to start somewhere. Just because someone isn't verified or has a low verification number, has a low post count, or hasn't been a member for very long doesn't really mean anything. I'd be more apt to simply advise people to use Paypal and let them take care of the rest. Nice looking 'shee by the way...
  3. This is the same exact scenario as my wrong wheel from Yamaha of Troy that I bought 2 years and 8 months ago. A good paying customer shouldn't have to get out the calipers and mic to make sure something they paid good money for is correct. Looking at my wheels I could see that both fronts were 10x5 ITP T-9 Baja wheels and HD tires but at first glance I couldn't see the 12 mm difference in bolt pattern so I thought they were ok. No I didn't measure it or try to put it on for 2 years and 8 months because I was stuck in a bad position on getting my Banshee built. When I went to put it on 3-4 weeks ago I noticed and got pissed. I spent $350 and got a 4/144 wheel and a 4/156 wheel from Yamaha of Troy that should've been 2 4/156 wheels for the front of my Banshee along with Holeshot HD tires. Most members on here disagreed with me about Yamaha of Troy still being responsible after over 2.5 years and it being their fault to begin with. I applaud this guy for dogging Inland ATV and telling us what's going on with his $40 part because he even called and verified it was a 4 mm spacer, not a 2 mm, and they still sent him the wrong part. People seem scared to stand up to a company nowadays. They have a responsibility to sell AND ship the correct part or it is their fault. As tight as money is now a company should do everything in their power to keep a customer happy so they can keep the customer period. Sad to say but losing a good customer over their own measly $40 mistake is a piss poor way of doing business and they won't stay in business long with habits like that. Personally I feel that a company's customer service is what builds the business, not sales numbers. When sales are down it's the reliable, dedicated, supportive customers that keep coming back and keep the business running and that stems from customer service, nuff said.
  4. ^^^Thanks a ton, excellent buyer as well.^^^
  5. Nah if I did I'd have it on my Banshee or at least try to lol.
  6. Also have for sale one ITP T-9 Baja rear wheel. The size is a 9x9, offset is 3+6, and bolt pattern is 4/115. It is brand new and just needs a new home as I have no use for it. I'm asking $60 shipped to anywhere in the 48 United States.
  7. I have a gutted y-pipe for 2007-08 R1 for sale. Both converters have been completely gutted which reduces the heat around the rearsets and under the seat and also frees up some additional airflow for extra horsepower. It also comes with a titanium header that has had the EXUP valve wired open. This could easily be reverted by simply cutting the safety wire and reconnecting your EXUP system to the header if you wish. Both of these I'm selling for $100 shipped to anywhere in the 48 United States. I also have for sale a fuel tank for 2007 R1. It will also fit 2008 if you had it completely repainted or just wanted to stunt but the Dark Bluish-Gray Metallic was specific to '07. I've done some repair work to it trying to knock a dent out of the side of it and have sanded it down and filled with body filler to smooth it out. For someone that is keen with bodywork this would be an easy turnaround profit or just a cheap tank to fix up into perfect condition. Every other part of it is immaculate besides the damaged area seen in the picture and there are no leaks. Comes with no hardware, pump, or filler cap assembly, tank only. These tanks cost around $600 new. I'm asking $125 shipped to anywhere in the 48 United States for the tank. If you have any questions you can PM me here or email me at [email protected]. I only accept Paypal and all prices include shipping to the lower 48 United States but 3% Paypal fees will be added to the price. Thanks, Chris.

  11. Bingo, guess I should've made myself more clear...
  12. Hairspray didn't work for my Pro Taper Synergy grips on my Contour bars. Well it did on the clutch side but the bars are knurled on that side. I sprayed them and put them on a week ago and my throttle side still twists.
  13. That's cool on the pipes. I guess I was just being stubborn and bull-headed. I'm trying to work out a trade locally with a couple of guys on either some FMFs or Pro Circuits.

  20. What's the lowdown on this? Can you send me a pic to [email protected]? I need one hub desperately.
  21. Can you do a copy and paste of your original list to show what's left or tell us what has been sold? I'm interested in some stuff but have been beaten to the bargains lol.
