  4. Here is the solution and its the way I read mine! Fill the fluids to their proper level (run the bike) then recheck. Let the bike cool (come back the next day to be sure). Once cold measure again with the dipstick all the way screwed in and mark the stick. now before you start it unscrew the stick check add if necessary and go. TOO EASY! ALWAYS CHECK THE FLUIDS COLD! Why runn the bike warm with no lubercation? Pow, there goes the crank berings. Dante

    1/8 mi times

    What are some 1/8 mile times you guys are running witha 4mm strokers, non cub (I was wondering what can expect to see with my new build)?

  10. I will do 80% drag and 15%trail and 5% admiring my shee and talking smack. I'm thinking of going with a 4mm stroker kit (wiseco), dune drag ported, +.04 bore(maybe), 34 carbs flat sides, cut domes in my cool head, CPI inframes, +4 swing arm, 110 octane and +7 timimg. What kind of 1/8mi times should that bring for a 250 pound rider probably 15-41 or 16/41gearing? Does that setup sound right? Any thing I'm forgetting? I have a guy talking how slow banshees are against a built 450 Yfz - until I smack him with my 2 stroke in a 1/8mi .
  11. Gents I have bad new about my motor - I did a compression test this weekend just for fun and I had 110 Left and 113 Right (on a shaved head). I was running 9.3 @ 70mph in a 1/8 mi (I should be fasterwith my mods T-5, lighten flywheel, 250mains 25 pilots, ported, +4 timing, shaved headsand 250 lbs).   18. So do you think 20cc will work with pump? Or should I stick with 21cc remember I'm 400 ft above sea level.
  19. When rebuilding car motors I go to dollar store and buy 3 cheap white sheet to work off. It helps keep the dirt down and lets you see new dirt you are putting in the motor before its too late. Use 1 sheet to put the motor on. use 1 sheet to lay the new parts. use 1 sheet to cover and keep trash out. This really helps unless you want to buy new parts. Remember oil is your friend, a little messy but very friendly.

  21. Well does anybody know what is equivilent to a stock head shaved .030's? Is there any performance in buying a cool head vs a stock head shaved when running pump gas (93octane)?
  22. Does anybody know the specs for cool heads? 22mm = what compression? 21mm = ? 20mm = ? 19mm = ? I want to run pump gas with stock motor (moded) and currently have .030 shaved off my stock heads. I live in Virginia about 400 ft above sea level if this helps. Will I see a performance difference with the cool heads over stock? I need to know what domes to get...
  23. Question - My bike dosent smoke evenly when its cold but runs perfect. The left smoke more than the right, is that a problem?
  24. What kind of pipes do you have? My T-5's make a slight popin sound.
