Havin g your domes custom cut is the better way to go. You will need to have your port timing adjusted as well. Take your bottem end, cylinders and head to your builder and the'll hook it up for you. Its the safest way to go. If your Cylinders are already ported for a 4mill I think Jeff at FAST has some off the shelf 4mill domes available now. Give him a shout. I have some for a 68mm bore in a 9 deg. and a 13 deg. Short and long rod.

Most any hardware store will have a 1/2"- 1" washer type spacer like fullthrottle has pictured above. that will really help with your problem. I dealt with the same thing and checked a few buddies rides and realized how far out the front hanger really had to be pushed out. Give it a shot.

Measure from the top of the rod and the top of cylinder. You should be able to KNOW from there. You'll be close enough to figure the length. Proly wont be exactly 54 or 58 but very close. What the heck. I dont no why my Know is like that. Didnt mean anyhing by it.

Stock cranks stroke is 54mm. 4mill is 58.

The early years from 200-04 i believe are the same as the early yfz. Im not certain what years they change but some of them are the same. Ive got lower yfz arms for a Raptor a few times. Just make sure there the same years if your buying individualy.

Ive used them both. I now run the Chariot setup and will proly run nothing else. There great on the bottem and all the way through. They are super crisp and took out that little notorious bottom end bog. I recommend the Chariot reed cages.

All you have to do is put a couple washers behind the footpeg. Before I got new DD pegs I think I had one washer in the rear and 2 in the front bolt. I did the same thing with my DD lockout to jbooker. A couple chrome washers.

Different pipes, CPI or toomey, intakes, reeds, k&n pods, advance your timing, coolhead to adjust compression, Dynatek ignition. Those are some bolt on mods. Then you can look into a 4mill crank, bigger carbs or a cub setup.
