  1. I bought my shee brand new and later installed a k&n filter set up it was a 3 jet jump in mains went from a 270 to a 300 just from k&n and no lid I do run outerwears all the time (I ride nasty trails also ) if you look on ebay you can find whole airboxes with K&N set up on them pretty cheap. One piece of advice if you buy one install it with some type of sealant because they do not seal up against the airbox and you will get crap flying through the gap.
  2. I was thinking about haveing a custum design seat made what material should I get for the cover
  3. I was told that with a stock bike not to get tires with more than 8 paddles or they will bog your bike down I ran Skat Trak edge 8 paddle tires and did great they were a little spendy though rocky mountain atv seems to smoke everyone on tire prices hope to see you there and I think it is a few thousand acres maybe 1,500 don't remember www.waynoka.com has all the info

  10. Looking into getting a steering damper and am not sure who all makes them for the Banshee
  11. are you haveing Elka rebuild them? I bet that they will do you right. I want to call them now and verify my build specs. I told them that I do it all so it is going to see some air and that i ride some pretty heavy trails so I wonder what I ended up with I hope that your set was just a mistake made on their part
  12. first weekend in Oct. is perfect so the 5th 6th 7th of Oct thats Fri. Sat. Sun. I am ready to get back out there hopefully this ride out will have as good of turnout as the spring ride did see ya there :woot:
  13. I would swap carbs around cable and all and see if problem fallows this will help you isolate your problem
  14. just got done putting my new elka front shocks to the test it took me 2 good days of hard trail rideing to adjust to were i felt they were perfect for my level these shocks are the real deal the people at elka have it down 100% satisfied I can hit jumps and go right into technical tight turns at high speeds and those shocks eat it up man they are compresion and preload adjust only and i say if you want the good shit hands down go elka baby they also look bad ass

    Elka's

I dont think anyone is nocking works shocks here they are good also and as far as the price they are pretty compairable but ELKAS look alot better IMO
  19. YUP, I don't have a idle kit on mine yet but pulled the TORS crap out do as REFLOYD said and you will be rideing in no time and just order your kit from someone else they are everywhere
  20. sounds good I am going on a big trail ride in SE Iowa by the Missippi river this weekend so we'll find out thanks Jesse1004 and I were talking and didn't think it would but were not sure
  21. I just had this issue with mine and I had a dirty set of pipes and exhaust port, cleared it self out. deffinately check your carbs I say and look into you engine from the exhaust side you may have some build up from tunning it after your build
  22. I was just wondering if when you advance your timing on a stock engine that is piped & has k&n no lid does your jetting need to be adjusted I noticed a few people mentioned it in other threads but nothing specific so I thought I would ask  I am going to go +4
  23. I don't think your front OEM shocks can handle MX there is someone on here who said he took one lap and bent them mine bent (but mine was compressed in a collision) you have full adjustment on your rear shock if you bottom out tighten her up a little and ride again and repeat I was told that your settings are very rider specific and to make small adjustments ride it and repeat until you get want you want but if you are going to be hitting big jumps alot you might as well buy new front shocks
  24. I run stage iv pipes and ya they are great alot of people say the fit is bad but I had no problems and after I ride it takes about ten mins to polish them back to new if you look on ebay now there is a chrome set going pretty cheap if you don't buy trinity find out about getting some CPI pipes they are also very nice pipes and a little cheaper but they are big if you do a search online you will find a place that sell Trinity pipes for cheaper than Trinity does then call Trinity they will price match and have them throw you a shirt to they warrenty there pipes for 30 days if you don't like them just send them back and go a different route good luck and after you install hold on they pull hard :woot:
