The dealership in my area has been selling Quads for 20 years and still claim they lose money on every sale. I don't know about you but nothing pisses me off more than listening to a salesman SHOVEL BULL and whine about how they get taken advantage of!!! Maybe this is how the salesman should dress!!!

I have bought and leased several vehicles for our business. If you own a business you can write off 100 percent of your payment and maintance on your taxes. We always buy our vehicles at the end of our leases, it is true you will get hosed with most leases at the end. What we do is lease the vehicle with no residule at the end. In other words there is no pay-off at the end, you outright own the vehicle at the end of the lease. You will not be able to get this deal through a dealership, you need to go through a commercial fleet leasing company. Trans Lease out of Colorado is a very good one. You do have to be a legitimate business for the write-off to be legal. If you don't own a business you cannot write off the lease payment or expenses. In that case I have always found the best thing to do is just outright purchase the vehicle (IMO). Another thing to consider on a lease is any damage to the vehicle at the end of the lease, you will be responsable to repair at the time of the turn in. Good Luck!

Yea I think it's pretty lame too!! :: But hey the ridin is pretty sweet!!

The quiet time is just in the campground. You can ride on the dunes during thoses hours but not in the campground. Alot of people just trailer (or push)outside the campground then ride. You will love the dunes they are awesome. If you want to mapquest from your location to Nephi Utah add another 31 miles from there. Or you can mapquest to Salt Lake and add 115 miles. Good Luck sounds like a fun trip to me.

shee loses power while in powerband
BIGDOGDADDY replied to Bigkahun74's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Did you have the full race port done? We have two Shees one with a mild port one with a full race port. We had to put bigger carbs on the one with the full race port. It was not getting enough fuel when you would hit 5th gear it would bog. The other shee still has the stock carbs and works fine no bogging. Just a thought but you may need bigger carbs, it worked for us. -

All I said was i don't consider a T5 a trail riding pipe. Do you? most people that I have heard from say the T5 takes to porting very well. So why would you buy T5s and port your Shee to trail ride. I never said the T5 was an all out drag pipe. And I am not looking to build a drag banshee. Just for riding the dunes and draging all the 4 pokers out there!! But once again I do appreciate all your input. That's why I asked you for it, Thanks.

WOW!! if you think I was being smart you wouldn't want to hang with my group, you would have your feelings hurt and be in tears all the time!!! SORRY, I will try to be more sensative in the future!!!

Yea, I already reposted in the mods section, . I wouldn't consider T5s trail pipes. I don't think you read my post very well. I said I mainly ride dunes and drag, Very limited trail use. I guess alot of people have mismatched packages because I have noticed alot of others with the same mods as me!! But hey thank's for the input.

Are you interested in selling the Shee complete? You can e-mail me a [email protected] -
My Boost Bottle added 50 HP!!! LOL!! I honestly did not notice a diffrence when I installed mine. Really seems like a waste to me, just my 2 cents though.

The Bore was the first one and was just a clean-up bore. The pistons are 0.076mm. What about a Mikuni 35.5 with power jet? I noticed one for sale on the forum. He was asking $500.00 for both with K&N filters power jets and some extra jets?

I have an 03 Shee with the following mods. Tommey T5s, V Force Reeds, Boost Bottle, Clean up bore with wiseco pistons, Full drag port and Polish. I will also be advancing the timing and lighten the flywheel. I am ready to replace my stock Carbs and was wondering what to get? I mostly ride the dunes. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hey guys, I have an 03 Shee with the following mods. Toomey t5s, reeds, coolhead, boost bottle, just had a clean-up bore with new wiseco pistons and a full drag port and polish. I am also going to advance the timing and lighten the flywheel. I want to buy some new carbs (still have stock carbs). What would you guys suggest size and brand? I mostly ride in the dunes and do alot of draging. But still some trail riding here and there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have the T5s and couldn't be happier!! I know you say you want to keep it mostly stock but trust me once you start to mod it and awaken the Beast it's hard to stop!! Best of Luck.

Is this possible.Dude on another site says
BIGDOGDADDY replied to 06BaNsHeE's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I would have to disagree with you on the T5s!! I run two Shees with T5s one with a port and polish. Was so happy with the first that I am having the second done as we speak. Best pipes $$$$ can buy as far i am concerned!! -

What is your opinion of the Duncan Racing National Kit
BIGDOGDADDY replied to jayzx10r's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Is this the Ebay Banshee? I know someone else who was looking at it also. The thing that spooked him away was that the Engine was re-built 3 years ago. And as usual this is another one of those deals, re-built engine never rode the thing. There are sure alot of people who dump a grand into their machines just to sell them The other thing is the frame was badly bent in a crash, that is why it has a new frame. Not to say everything wasn't put back just right but you never know. Bottom line, this guy has definetly put alot of money into this Banshee. If the engine truly only has a few hours on it and there is no lingering affects from the bent frame crash, then you have a great bike. If not with this type of engine you can expect to put some big money in it to have what you thought you were getting to start with. You will just have to decide if this guy is a straight shooter. Best of Luck, let us know how it turns out. -
Selling my banshee, check out this email i recieved
BIGDOGDADDY replied to kubiac3's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Do yourself a favor and forget about that deal!! I have heard of other scams just like this on Ebay. Nothing good will happen for you with this deal. Remember the wise old saying. If it's too good to be true it probley is. Only in this case it definetly is too good to be true!!!!! Best of luck. -
I love your SHEES!!!!!!!! Great Job!!!!!!!

BIGDOGDADDY replied to jayzx10r's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Everyone keeps saying get the Duncan for the extra $1,300.00!!! But hey how much is the guy asking for the Duncan? I think we should know that before we say yea buy it it's a good deal for the extra $$$$$$!!! So how much for the Duncan Bike???? -
As mentioned start off by changing your plugs. We had the same problem a couple days ago it was just a fouled plug. If you just bought your Shee and the person you bought it from was at a diffrent altitude than you that could be fouling your plugs, because your jetting would need to be changed. See if your plugs are really black and oily you may be running too rich. Good Luck and enjoy your new Shee.
