Thanks for the suggestions!! I have decided to go with the full drag port. Do you guys think at this point I should have the Crank welded? If I do I might as well do it while the other work is going on, no need to pay labor twice. Anyway thanks again guy's.

Hello, I am getting ready to do a full Port and Polish on my 2003 Shee. I already have the following mods. Toomey T-5's,Reeds,Boost Bottle,Cool Head. I am trying to decide to go with the full race port or just a mild port. I do alot of dune riding and racing. I am also going to do a clean up bore and install wiesco pistons, lighten the flywheel and advance the timing. Will I need to purchase a racing clutch with all these mods? Is there anything else I should do to avoid headach down the road? Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Go with the lt 250r! I have had one for several years, they are very fun. You can do alot of diffrent types of riding on them, great for trails or dunes. You can also modify them without breaking the bank. 2 strokes take to mods alot better than 4 strokes. You can still get parts pretty easy on ebay. Also several aftermarket dealers carry them.
