  1. Good sheezit. Just handle with care. Keep in a sealed container out of sun and dont get it on you. I got a mouth nose full last week and it made me sick. Damn container. Was pulling up the little snout and the lid popped. Mini gyser hit me as perfect as as possible. Got it in my eyes mouth and sinus. But I heard from a reliable sourse thats its good stuff. Messed me up, so it has to be good.
  2. If only one of the cylinders is sucking at a time I would be inclined to agree. I also wonder if the runner length, even tho you shortened yours would slowdown the flow. I also cant help but wonder if the air have to make the 45 degree turn wouldnt cause some turbulance and uneven entry into the the reed cage. With one carb on a single intake and boot, it is a straight shot to the reeds. For duning and trailing its better. But all the fast guys say 2 carbs are better. Besides. Once you get it it dialed your hardly ever have to mess with it. Less of course you make a severe altitude change or the the weather drops a lot. And on Kiehins you dont have to remove the carb to change the mains. I have given this lots of thought cuz I too luv the simplicity of the single, but love the extra hp more.

  4. I heard raw gas is lower octane and all gas that is higher in octnae has additives. Even race fuel. If not, then what is the diference between say 91 and 110?
  5. Whats the R for on my plugs. Can I run with the non R B8ES?
  6. I take it you guys all have the triniy 2 to1. I have a homemade one and just got my bike ported. When I can I will be putting it on adyno then swapping to 2 carbs and dynoing again. Everyone says that 2 is much better than one. Unles you dont care if you lose hp for a more mild powerband. I expect that is exactly what I will find.
  7. Stock 28 hp to the ground Add pipes and jetting. 32-35 HP coolhead and timing 37-40 porting and bigger carbs 50 to70 mild to wild stroker 7+all the above 75-85 wild. Mostly a bike for drag After market jugs like cubs or a mini 70 to 100+ If mony isnt aa issue call K&T Performance or one of the reputable porters RDZ, OHTON, and other big names. If all you want is an x amount of power there are lots of guys who can get it for you. How fast do you want to go. What kind of riding are you going to be doing. Do you want low end or a screamer. Theres lots to consider when modding your bike. Have a plan than research then ask around for your paticular needs. Good luck.
  8. Did you use a new set of plugs? Warm the bike up good by riding it then put the new plugs in. immediately do a 1-6 WOT drag and hold 5th or 6th wfo open for 5sec or more hit the kill switch and pull the clutch at the same time. Coast to a stop then pull the plugs. Put your old plugs back in and ride back. Your chop looks like you didnt do that.

  10. Warm your bike up. Work on one side at a time. turn the screw all the way in and back it out 1/2 turn at a time till you get hieghest smoothest idle. Do the same on the other. give 10 secounds between each adjustment. Note how many turns out you are. Now adjust for throttle response. 1/4 turn at a time. After done if you are less than 1 turn out you probably need bigger pilots. If more than 2 turns out you need smaller pilots.

  12. The above chop was at 2000' 75 deg. 185 Jet. I did another on today at 200' 75 deg 188 jet with no change. I'm stepping up to 205 210 Jet next. Would have done it today but no local shops had those sizes. I thought I put a 190 in there but i read it wrong. I put the 190 in when I got home and it revs better in nuetral than the others. Doesnt mean much I know. I also got the right pilot finally. Best throttle response at 1.5 turns out.
  13. I think that 1.27 mm is not enough. Everyone says 2-3. I want to error on the safe saide. Located some bigger jets today.200-205-210. How does it run? Lean. It pulls ok down low but wont rev like it should. I am hoping it will run much better when I get it right.

  19. Brand new basically. A very good freind of mine bought a new 06 Shee last year and got T6's the same day and I was there when the bike came home and he rode it down the street and back and into the garage and I put the T6's on for him. Complet from heads to tail. 100.00+shipping I have a set of like new carbs off my 05 that only have 8 to 12 hour on them. Bone stock the way they came new.   20. I am going to test the single against the dual. I am shopping for another 35 and some intakes. My single isnt like the dreaded trinity. Its pretty sick and works good. It pulled good from 6k to 11k with the last hack porting I had. Kevin Herr has my Jugs now and it should run good either way. If the single keeps up I will keep it because it is just to easy to work on and remove. 1 clamp 1fuel line unsrew the top cap and the carb is on the bench. I think it will run better with 2 but not much.
  21. I want some shearers but thanks. I love these pipes and know they will work good with my new porting but I also know the drag pipes will work a little better. Little here, little there, and next thing you know, you got a lot. If I could afford it I would keep them for just duning and run the oofs for hillshooting but I'm poor these days.
  22. I have the complete set up of my 05 banshee. Only 6 hrs on it. Carbs filter box boots. Pjs must be in perfect condition for me to trade.
  23. I have a +6 chromemoly nickle plated. Stock style carrier Its been welded. didnt break just started to crack around where the arm meets the the carrier bracket. . Had it proffessionally repaired and a small 1/2 chomoly brace added. I had to mexi chrome the repair. But it still looks decent. Make offer with and without the carrier. I will gaurantee it and give detailed pics if interestd.
  24. I am considering some drag pipes as my jugs are almost done with a 70 hp port. So I'm throwing these out there to see if there is any interest. They are small flange small bore. The chrome by the exaust ports is blued badly almost black at the flange. There are some glove marks by the fuel shutoff that may clean up. The silensers are gutted. If there is interest I'l will take pics in the next couple days or so. There is only like a 5 hp max gain going to the oofs so I would like to know what I can get for these so I know what its gonna cost for 3-5 hp. Hand mad means not stamped. Many section welds around the circumfrerence instead of down the length. The welds are very light and well done and the pipes are made with thinwall and are very very light. 1-10 scale I would say 6-7 in looks and 10 in performance.
