Me and this motor has a long wicked history together. Long story short. I let a fuck head nobody put his hands on it and now i gotta pretty much start over. I drove all the way from Atlanta to Michigan to buy this bike and it has been ruined. So the engine was a Brad Tyson 535 however my crank has been stolen so the guy that stole it said it was a 115 rod 10mil. He said it didn't have a spacer plate and had a .019 base gasket. I got a 120 rod i wanna put in the cheetah pv's. My question is can i run the 120 rod with no spacer? If so what pistons will i need? Base gasket thickness? It has a 73mm bore. When the fuck head that ruined it dynoed it it only made 95ish hp on race gas. That just won't cut it . Im looking for 130+ on alky. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Went to several shops today and tried to get some info. Appearently nobody in ATL can true and weld a banshee crank. I got the most shock from the dealership lol. I asked about truing and welding a banshee crank and dude looked at me like i was speaking chinese lol. The tech didn't know the crank could be took apart and rebuilt Looks like i might have to ship it off

Tranny give you any problems before? There is supposed to be a groove there for the bearing clip. Put up some pics and show us what you are talking about. Was there a bearing clip in the groove?

I've done great business with site sponsors in the past and i am very pleased. Thats the point i need a local joker so i don't have to ship and wait. Wish i could find a good local machine shop and train'em lol...Last dude i went to locally kept all my dam cylinder studs . Now when i go to the locals i gotta interview them

Any one know any one in the Atlanta,Ga area that can press cranks back together then true and weld them? Can any machine shop do this if i give them the specs? Really don't wanna pay all the shipping and then wait forever for turnaround. Most machine shops i have to give them specs and make sure they chamfer the ports when i get them bored locally. Just got some back and they didn't chamfer one port and i am pissed . Alot of machine shops know nothing about 2 strokes . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

threads on the stator side good? Any play in the bearings? rods? Flywheel end got any pits?

I need a right cylinder (clutch side cylinder) That is less than a 65 mm bore and that does not have to be bored beyond 65 mm to remove any deep scratches or gouges. I need it asap.

Don't know what kind of riding you doing ..but im curious to know if a 10 mil would be any fun in the trails? Seems to be a bit much to me.

You say they need to be bored. Do they have any deep grooves in them or will boring to next size be ok?

I think the carbs are a bit small for that motor. Im assuming you have big bore cpi's. Those 30 mm are holding the motor back. Just my 2cents.

Who done the port for you?

I think it just detonated. Piston skirt is fine and rings still in place and there are zero pits in the head

head gasket looked ok. i couldn't see anything wrong with it. Anywho the bottom end of crank is shot so i get to rebuild the whole thing..yay
