  1. man hands down if your workin on heavy stuff get the ingersoll rand composite impacts im a diesel mechanic and thats all i will use they have the most torque and some of the lightest weights i personally have the 3/8 1/2 and 3/4 composite and i love them my buddy at work has the snap on impacts and when he cant get something off he's at my box askin to borrow my ir's, now at home is a different story i have some craftsman and some harbor freight but i also have some good stuff :thumbsup: hope this helps you out.
  2. i was at gordons for halloween and i got a ticket for no seatbelt in my rhino and i was talkin to the sheriff out there he was tellin me that you can't just run the rv plate you have to have the mc plates and have current tags on the bike or you have to purchase the stickers last year i was sittin at the sand drags at gordons and a sherriff got me for not having the stickers i wasnt acting stupid or doing dumb shit i was just sitting there so what ever you guys do thats up to you i'm just informing you of my encounters.
  3. sorry guys i never got any pics up but i can tell you that the head is awesome not a single problem with install or performance i was at the dunes , gordons well over halloween and it was pretty hot out there 90+ and not any problems at all and it looks great i will try to get some pics up soon but im in the process of moving into my new house so i dont know when i'll have a chance, and my bike runs great i absolutely love the way it runs with the hjr port job and t6 pipes.
  4. so are these a direct replacement bulb for the stockers?
  5. are the trail tech mr16 torch lights much brighter than stock? also how about the lazer stars?
  6. my wife needs some better lights for her banshee, they need to be brighter and put out a wider beam so she can see off to the sides better at night what would be the best lights for this? i don't want to change out the stator either is there any lights that would be good for my situation? thanks guys.   8. its not actually the kick start rattling against the case it sounds like its internal, if you take the kick start and push it down like you were going to start the bike with your hand after it's running you can get the noise to stop.
  9. i'll be out there friday night through monday evening. and i'll be there turkey week also.
  10. since my rebuild i have noticed that the kick start has been rattling it never did before, if you mess with the kickstarter sometimes it will stop rattling until you start the bike again. my question is why is it rattling and did i put something together wrong? will it hurt any thing to ride the bike like this?
  11. yeah he ported it for the t6's as far as the t6's against the other pipes hopefully i'll get some races this weekend when i go ride so i'll let you guys know how shee does.
  12. well guys i finaily finished my rebuild while i was rebuilding i had my cylinders ported by kevin @ herr juggs racing, my setup is an aggressive dune port stock stroke, WITH T6 PIPES,ported stock reed cages with stock reeds, a chariot performance head with 20cc domes compression is 142 @ 800 ft and +4 timing. this is a totally different bike the thing flat out rips, the port job is amazing all my friends who have ridden the bike are amazed and are all ready to ship their cylinders out. i know it has been said numerous times before but kevin is an outstanding guy he has great customer service and his work is amazing. just would like to thank all you guys here on hq that helped out when i had questions, i also would like to thank kevin for all his help during my rebuild.
  13. my compression is at 142 timing +4 and running on pump gas. it runs great.
  14. first what psi should cap hold? also what is accectable as far as leakage example 1 psi per minute?
  15. so what thickness gasket should i go with?
  16. i just checked the squish on the motor im building and its at .060 is this to loose? i have 20 cc domes stock crank. thanks guys.
  17. do you have to have a special adaptor for the neck on the radiator?
  18. well like i said i put it on and it seemed to go on correctly but im still kinda worried but i guess i'll have to wait and see after i get it in the bike and fire it up? or is there another way to test and see if it will leak or not?
  19. well i put it on and torqued it down but the domes never did sit completely flush in the head but the head seems to seal up properly on the cylinders.
  20. i'm putting my engine back together right now and i'm at the head i got a new chariot performance head got all the o-rings in place and i went to put the head onto the cylinders it wont sit down flush on the cylinders theres a gap between the cylinders and the head.. i also noticed that the domes do not sit completely flush into the head are they supposed to? this is my first time messing with an aftermarket head so any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks...also there were no instructions with the head so im not sure if i have all the o-rings in the right places.. but they all seem right. thanks again.   22. for dirt tires i got a set of razr 2's i love 'em they hook up great but they are kinda heavy not to bad though just heavier than some but the traction and wear of these tires are worth the little extra weight.
