  1. definately send them to a reputable builder on this site, i sent mine to hjr and couldnt be happier with the results.
  2. my banshees an '04 and i only have a tube in my left carb and my wifes is an '06 only the tube for the left carb on hers also.
  3. i could use the 280's before i went to the open filter setup but it was still a tad on the lean side, all bikes are a little different just make sure you do a plug chop after you get it jetted.
  4. if your running an open filter setup like k&n pods you'll probably be around a 320 main needle on 3rd ot 4th clip and stock pilots, jets should run you anywhere from 3-6 bucks a piece.
  5. if your running the k&n pods you will probably end up with a 320 main toomey needle on the 3rd or 4 clip stock pilots.. im not sure of the elevation in tucson but here around phoenix that is the setup i ended up with for my wifes banshee and that was where mine was setup before i did my other mods. and a clymers manual is like a chilton manual for cars but its for the banshees and you can order them from one of the site vendors or get one local at a bike shop most places should be able to get them.Tom
  6. i think you'll have to fatten it up some . but get in touch with whoever did your porting and they should be able to get you in the ball park.
  7. im out in buckeye here about 2 miles from the hassiyampa river bottom.
  8. ( this statement is very untrue have you ever ridden a banshee that had a good port job and had t6 pipes? i can tell you that my bike runs great with this setup now it may not be the fastest in the world but i can definately tell that it will hold its own against banshees that are ported with difff pipes, and its more than enough to keep the 4 pokes off you. i thought the same thing when i first started to mod my banshee but after i put my bike back together i had a totally differant feeling towards porting and the t6 pipes, now i'm not saying that another set of pipes wont compliment the porting better but i am saying that if your gonna port you should atleast try the t6's first before selling them.
  9. the jetting is really easy and if you need any help the guys here on hq know their stuff and could walk you through the steps, if you decide to do it yourself just ask lots of questions and you will get the answers you need. also pick up a clymer manual for the banshee.
  10. your gonna hear all kinds of opinions i believe you will be very impressed with this set up it will run great just make sure you get it jetted correctly.
  11. thats why i love living out here i can jump on my bike and im about 2 miles from the river bottom
  12. im in phoenix well out on the west side of phoenix all kinds of riding, let me know when you get in az and where your staying and we can get together and ride.
  13. i have 2 banshee's an '04 and a '06 also have a rhino a kasea 90 and a lt80
  14. lol. yea my wife loves riding my banshee now that the port work and stuff is done so its a win win situation for me.
  15. compression was at 158 with the 20 cc domes. i thought about going to a differant pipe but i kinda like having the t6's because all the guys with the bikes runnin t5's or a "better" pipe than the t6's are suprised as hell when we race  . at the dunes i was racing a guy with almost the same setup as my bike but he had bigger carbs and t5's and we were neck and neck every race. i really cant complain on the performance of the t6's with the port job the bike runs awesome i'm sure with some other pipes it might run better but like i said i'm really impressed with the performance the way it is. i was even entertaining the idea of puting this setup in my wifes banshee and building a stroker out of her motor but i'm still undecided on what to do. thanks for all the comments guys. Tom
  16. what should the next performance mod be an my banshee? i was thinking in the direction of new carbs? if so what size and what kind would be suited for my setup? the mods i have so far are aggressive dune port by kevin @ herr jugs, t6 pipes, ported stock reed cages, chariot performance head with 20cc domes, adjustable timing plate, k&n pods. so what do i do next?
  17. temp is probably gonna be 60 -70's in the day time and 30's-40's at night to far out to know about rain n stuff, but more that likely there willl be atleast 1 day thats windy just seems like everytime i go theres always 1 day thats windy as hell. but the weather should be good i live about 2 1/2 hours from glamis but the elevation / weather is fairly similar. i will be at the dunes but not glamis we will be at gordons well.
  18. im next if the others fall through!
  19. looking for a set of stock silver rims/ tires.. price shipped to 85396
  20. let us know how this turns out i was lookin at getting some bigger carbs for my setup.
  21. right now i have a set of t6's and i know a guy that has a set of t5 head pipes but he does'nt have the stingers or silencers will the stingers and silencers off of my t6's fit the t5's?
