  11. how much timing is safe to run at sea level? i have 135 psi in each cylinder the mods to the bike are t6's ,k&n pods, adjustable timing plate, right now its set at +4 but i was just wondering how much higher i could go and still be safe i could run a higher octane fuel if i need to thats not a problem, any info will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance. Tom
  12. dude i know how you feel..well not really my shee is not nearly as nice or as fast as yours but i still love her. the wife said that it was time to get something that we could throw the kids in to go out to the dunes so we went and got a rhino but i opted to keep both shees and take the 125 dollar a month hit for the rhino well worth it imo now i get the best of both worlds. good luck on your decision.
  13. no he is actually a really good rider
  14. this weekend i went riding with a buddy who has a 2007 450r that is piped jetted has k&n intake and a smaller front sprocket when we would race it would be really close until i hit 6th then i would start pulling him all thats done to my bike is t6's adjustable timing plate set at +4 k&n pods i thought that i would be able to really beat him does this sound right to you? btw i weigh about 60 pounds more than him.
  15. i dont mean to jack this post buti was wondering about this also i have just bolt on stuff tr6's,pods, timing plate and i live in high elevation 5300 ft. but i do go ride close to sea level could i run my timing plate say at 6 or 8? and still be ok? what would i need just higher octane fuel?
  16. i have 2 bikes that i run tr6's on and they both run great never had any problems with them if your gonna stay stock as in no porting i'd definately suggest the t6's they are a great pipe and make good power.
  17. might you possibily consider splitting them up? i only need fronts. if so how much?
  18. what were you trying to trade for? also can you kind of give us a heads up to how much you are lookin to get out of 'em?
  19. can you post some pics of the cylinders i am intrested in this setup. thanks in advance. Tom.
  20. if your planning on staying near stock on porting definately run the tr6's i run them and they run great definately more power on a stock/ bolt on bike. and they do respond great to bolt ons for later.
  21. i kinda like that one that says bansheehq racing but maybe do a square flag? in some other colors? either way im down for a few flags.
  22. maybe you guys could give some ideas to me. my mom and cousin run a screen printing business and my step mother has an embroidery machine that she does side work with. i know we can get a deal on shirts, jackets, scullies, beanies, hats pretty much whatever. has all this stuff been cleared with lee?
  23. no its a ngk plug number br8es
  24. ok guys heres the deal yesterday me and the wife went riding before we left i threw new plugs in both bikes when we got out there i noticed that her bike was smoking alot more than mine so i told her to get on it a lil to clear it up she did and the bike was running great just a little smokey. when we got home i pulled the plugs out of both bikes mine were a perfect tan color but hers were black like alot of oil/fuel on them the bikes have the exact same mods and jetting tr6 pipes, k&n pods, rickey stator adjustable timing plated set at +4 with the jetting set at 280 mains, stock pilots and needle on the 4th clip the only difference in the 2 bikes is that mine has the factory needles in the carbs and hers have the needles that came with the toomey jet kit. would just the needles make that much of a differance? ive also noticed that her bike has a tendancy to foul plugs once in a while? what do i do?. Thanks Tom. also forgot to mention that im at 5000 ft. elevation.
  25. no it does not look like that the whole diameter of the electrode is just smaller than a new plug like its just worn. i was just wondering if this was normal for a 2 stroke usually i have never worn plugs that bad on a 2 stroke i usually fouled them first with my 250R.
