  3. Much better.... much much better!
  4. Here is a pic that show where they are on a stock carb....
  5. $30 shipped for a set with the black plastic fender attachments, and $25 for a set without. Pm me if you would like a set.
  6. I had the same problem. Make sure the e-brake, throttle, both tors wires, and the little black box under the left side kinda by the coil of the bike is gone. Then make sure your slides are lifting enough to get the bike running. That was my main problem was getting the carbs set right after getting all the tors just off.
  7. Depends on how much roll out you want out of the hole with superlites... They stretch with more air, I am going to run right around 7psi in mine.
  8. ghost rider can tell you where to buy them.
  9. Right here.... cheap and fast, and easy... My kind of shopping. Jetsrus link
  10. Just wanted to check... what size are those tires on both? Thats why it looks funny, the tires on the right are huge and the left is small... that must be whey they look like fronts.
  11. Is the one on the left a front wheel? Looks like a front.
  12. I just sold one set. I have another set that is rheamed out for bigger ball joints if that helps.. I also have a set that where the left tie rod hooks on is bent back a little. I will let them for for $25 per set if those interest you.... Ill be 100% honest, the only really good set I just sold to grinch.
  13. He means tap it in 1/2 a turn then back it 1/4, the in 1/2 and back it out 1/4... that way it doesnt strip out as you are doing it... Use WD-40 and you will be fine.... You know you have to file the bosses down flat, then tap right? I filed mine down till they were between 1/2 and 3/4s of an inch long. Here is where you do it.... EDIT----oh and you asked what to tap meant... it means to use a tap and make threads that a bolt or screw will go into. if you have any more questions I will do my best to help you out...
  14. back at ya..
  15. Call some builders, they will beat that price.
  16. Dude... holy shit. $1000 dollars for the crank?!!?! They are not near that. Closer to $550-$600
  17. That is simply not true... If you shop around a little you can get the 7mm for very little more then the 4mm.
  18. I dont have a rear one and here is one pic I do have of the polished calipers. I dont want to split up the calipers from the rest of the set up, it make it too hard to get rid of the rest of it. I can get more pics here in a bit if you need.
  19. $20 shipped.... one side has some pits.
  20. Here is what ive got.... not going to list it all, the pic shows it. Not shown in the pics, I have a complete front brake system with polished calipers, and I am selling my old green and black plastics, and my old rhino lined frame. There is one crack in the plastics and the paint chipped a little but nothing major. I want $200 shipped for the plastics, and $80 shipped for the brakes, and $180 you pay the shipping on the frame. Other then those things, make offers on the stuff in the pile of parts. EDIT-- Sorry for the double post, had an IPS driver error... anyway the pics are hard to see so here is what there is, lots of spindles, set of hubs, e-brake set up, 2 sets of heel guards, rear stock skid, steering stem, bars, foot pegs, bottom motor mounts, stock foot pegs, 2 grab bars, stock swinger, rear wheel spacers 1 1/2 inch, dog bone, shifter welded back together, kill/ light switch off a 98, stock timing plate, stock intakes, 2 sets of stock clutch gears, clutch backing plate. Pipe hangers are gone Theshee stickers are not on there anymore...

  22. Clean the carbs... thats may help. It is very easy, just pay attention when you take them apart so you can get it back together. Clean the pilot jet out, they can plug up and make a very hard start. My wifes 2000 had plugged pilots and was very hard starting. As dajogejr said, get a clymer manual, they are very helpful. here is a pic of the carb with the bowl off so you can see where the pilot jet is... can be hard to find if you have never been in a carb before..
  23. Its worth every penny of 110. Reeds make throttle response great and add a nice little bit through out the powerband.
  24. Damn I like how those turned out... everytime I walk in the damn garage Im staring at that damn thing!! Cant wait to see that bitch all done!
  25. If you want a low end hill climber, get a 7mil crank and run it on your stock cylinders. It would be a hill climbing sucker. There is a fella at Walden that has a 7mil, its not the fastest dragger, but it is a low end monster.
