  1. Ten four rubber ducky. Thats how I usually do it
  2. you should start your motor and let it idle just blipping it a little to take it off idle for about 5 min and then shut it down and let it set for several hours before doing it again. You should do this 6 times till you get 30 min on the motor then ride it for about 15 min just getting on it a little dont top it out. do this twice then you can ride it but ride it easy for the firts few times. Its the heating and cooling of the motor that sets the rings. anyone else have a take on this??
  3. Will that pick up the power cause I was really hopeing for quite a bit more.????
  4. I dont know which one came off which side. I didn't find a pic of it in my clymer or anythign that really tells me. anyone wanna look at their shees for me and tell me which plug cap you have on which side??
  5. I just got my shee back with a mild clean up port, vitos ss pistons, trued and welded crank, and a .020 over bore. plus my other mods in my sig (pipes, v force, shaved head, + 4 timing, lightned flywheel) Im just getting it broke in. I have about 3/4 of a tank of gas through it and It was faster before I got the motor work done. I have 390 mains, 30 pilots, air screw 1.5 turns out, toomey needles on 3rd up from bottom, at about 1200 ft above sea level and 70-80 degrees temp. am I over jetted and if so will it make that much of a difference when I get the jetts dialed in a little better?? I think the quad was faster before I got the work done, if not its close. Or will It get better as I get a little more time on it??
  6. If I put the wrong plug wire on the plugs will it make a difference?????
  7. I've been on vacation for 1 week and I think I missed some stuff???????????????????
  8. dont forget about the sst. for the type of riding you are talking about the sst or toomey T5 sounds like a good choice. what ever you do dont use clamp on k&n filters though. If you hold a well oiled K&N filter up to the light you can see all kinds of little holes that leak dirt into your motor. You may gain 1.5 hp or so over a foam filter but when you loose the edge on your rings you will loose like 2 or 3 hp so you loose in the end and you loose engine life. I personally would never use a K&N filter on a 2 stroke off road motor. I just dont believe in them I know lots of people use them but Ive seen so much evidence that they are not good protection for your motor and I want to take care of my motor... from the experience I have had. Go foam!!!
  9. my gf wanted to try my shee too so I took her to the sand dunes for a soft landing incase she flipped it over backwards. anyway she took off and did a great job. Id put her on a shee any time.
  10. wow!!! nice wife!!!!! oh ya, and nice shee too!
  11. anyone who checks out atvconnection knows who Im talking about. I think we got rid of this kid. what a pain in the ass, I never said anything but I got sick of his ignorant, childish posts. trying to start shit with people all the time and getting in the way of people trying to find out legitimate information. He got mad and says he is leaving the site. good for everyone else on there!! he said he would die before he ever bought another 2 stroke see ya!!
  12. I have had this happen to me also but it comes in handy when you are topped out and you go buy a group of people and you pull on the bars the the front end floats up at near 90mph people are very impressed.
  13. mine does the same thing... I cant pin point it either. I thought it might be a slight difference in my chain tensioners causing my axle to be slightly misaligned... I hope someone knows...
  14. you can put a 16 on the front. I had a 16 on the front of my 2000 shee and I had stock rear sproket and chain... I have 15 on my shee right now but I might up it to 16 after I get my motor back
  15. Well as far as the cut fenders goes Its all up to your personal opinion. I personally dont like the looks of cut front fenders on a banshee. I have a red alba flames graphics kit on my black and white shee. I know I might be loosing a couple mph on top with my fenders but then again Im not getting mud, rocks, or sand slung up at my face either. I really like the looks of a banshee with the fenders on, thats my opinion. as far as the crank. I would have your stock crank trued and welded, I dont think you will get much or anything from a different brand, someone correct me if IM wrong??
  16. yup saw it, it was cool
  17. ok you might not notice any difference but you will be increasing the fuel to air ratio because in your tank you will have less oil so you will have more room for gas. meaning that instead of having 32 parts of fuel to every 1 part of oil you will have 40 parts fuel to every 1 part oil. That means that coming through your jets will be more gas and less oil but the air intake will remain the same causing an increase in fuel and a richer mixture... some people mistakenly think that lein/rich means the amount of oil in the gas, people think that adding more oil is "richening" the mixture but it is actually doing the oposite by decreasing the amoung of gas you can put with the oil you lein your mixture out...
  18. ah man you didn't like trinity and lonestar??
  19. Id really like a rhyno. but as far as sport quads hum...... I think Id have to go with a raptor with nos. Thats what I was gunna get when I got my last banshee but I changed my mind at the last second. thank god I did
  20. trinity and lonestar... then line em up and see which ones faster
  21. They hardly ever do...
  22. that really sounds like the best Idea to me... I would have done it like 3 months ago but ohwell!
  23. I have the mods listed below and Im getting vitos super stock pistons, bore .020 over, mild trail port, and a trued and welded crank. that should bump me up like a good 6 or 8 hp on top of what I allready have right???
