Iv got a temp guage and I run about 140 when Im just riding fast down the roads on a normal 75 degree day. I will have to get some and try it to see how much cooler I run.

Yes, there is alot of things you should know about shees. They are different from any other quad ever produced. luckily you can find all that information on this site. spend some time looking through all the forums and just reading. when you get your shee all of a sudden you'll be like "oh thats what theyere talking about" and you'll be glad you know what your doing... There has never been, nore will there ever be a quad like the banshee so a lot of what other people out there tell you is general information about quads wont apply to a banshee.

I decided not to buy it for now. it was gunna end up being $125 for the head with 22 cc domes then shipping then studs from prodesign are $34 and he said one of the orings was missing so I would have to come up with one of them too. I am just looking for an aftermarket head cause I keep blowing head gaskets. Im on my third one this summer and at $20 each I would be farther ahead to have an aftermarket head.

I think it was like 126 last time I checked ( about 2 or 3 weeks ago) This head is used and the kid said he doesn't have the studs they where on the cylinders when he sold them i guess.

ok im looking at a used cool head and It has some 22cc domes so that would be cool to start with then right?? also is there any place I can buy the longer studs other than right from prodesign??

my buddy has a bone stock raptor and I know if you change jets you can make more hp with them, I saw an article in dirtwheels a while ago where they just changed jets and cut the top of the air box on a raptor and made more hp with it but I cant find the article. anyone who knows let me know I wanna make his rappy keep up with us shee riders better

How do I know what size domes I should get for my shee. I am thinking of getting a cool head but how do I know what size doms I should get. I wanna run pump gas like I am now. my mods are in my sig?? any help appreciated!! Thanks!!

No this is the base ring. we are talking about a colored ring around the base of the porcelin. You can only see it if you cut the threads of the plug to get to it. You can also judge jetting by the base ring(what you are talking about) but I dont think its as accurate.

Idk but they do dissappear its common over the wires for stuff to not get seen. I rode on the axle and I should have taken it right off and mailed it back to you and let you decide whatsup with it, but I didnt. This is part of an email that shellby sent to me stating that the axle was fine. Thanks sredish, I have done that and my base ring is black and has deposits on it that is why I thought I was rich but I will buy some new plugs and put them in my pocket and go riding on my wobblie axle and when I get a chance hit 6th cut it and pull the old plugs, put in the new ones and then when I get home cut the old ones. sounds like a plan thanks!!

Ill answer this question again but this is the last time. I noticed it as soon as I started pulling out of my driveway. I chose to ride on it rather than pulling it out because after a couple days no one returned my emails so I figured I was stuck with it anyway and no sence putting the other one back in just to pull it out again. That is why. Now I did not bend this axle but I should have taken it out right away and chose not too. Not only did I ride on it but I ruined the powdercoat There for If I where looking on this agruement like most of you are not like shelby and I are I would prolly say that its my own ass for using the broke shit axle. I wish I would have posted on this site asap and gotten your attention then we could have worked it out before I rode on it and chipped the powdercoat all to hell. anyway lets just drop it Its not worth $70, I might try to find a shop and have it straightened and sand blasted and keep it as a spare. Im not bullheaded enough to keep up this arguement I just want everyone to know this: I did send 3 emails one of them explained the problem and I did notice the axle was bent as soon as I rode on it I just chose to keep riding on it... I got a new durablue coming anyway, It'll look nice

your a genious!! no doubt gravel roads. the kind I talked about in earlier posts some dirt and gravel some just dirt but the chunks of rock fly up and hit the axle, I never realized how bad it gets hit till I had this powdercoated axle on for a few days and chipped it all to hell. I would have to have it sandblasted and recoated I think. Its only $70 I just thought I could get your attention on this site since no replys to the email. here Ill tell ya what take my $70 and buy your self a 12 pack and a carton of smokes on me. I warmed it up with the old plugs in and took it to a straight away, pulled them and put in new br7es (I had them laying around) started it and hit all 6 gears down the straight, held it in 6th for a few seconds and hit the kill. coasted to stop and pulled the br7's and put the old plugs back in and rode home. when I cut the br7's I found no ring around the base of the ceramic at all?? I thought I was rich but acording to this im lein. but I ride it all the time like hell in the top of 6th I would think it would have blown up by now

However people are right I did use the axle for a couple days and dammaged the powder coat but I figured what good is powdercoat on a bent axle anyway. Its not worth it to have this junk axle recoated Its just going to the dump no matter who ends up with it. what I wanna know is what about this 3rd email. no man I allready said this but I noticed the axle was bent right away I chose to ride on it because I dont do this kind of work often on my bike but It did take me like 2 hours to change it with my nose in a clymer and I wasn't about to do it twice just to ride. and since I thought I would never hear from shellbyzfan again I said to hell with it Im allready out the money. this is a great idea but I live in the boonies. The nearest machine shop is in watertown and thats 70 miles away. not a quick trip across town like for most people. youre right ya little bitch, I never thought about it but I checked my sent folder and it was in there. I agree since we are not close enough to meet, man that axle was fucked and I wanted to ride. I put the junk on so I had no choice either let it sit or ride a shit axle that someone fucking ripped me off on and won't return my emails!!!!! That was the choice I had, I sent 3 emails to you and no returns. when I wanted to buy that axle I got returns in hours. wtf!!!
