  2. I would say to take the exhaust pipe off and see if you can get a better swing at it. If that does not help Have a friend help you. Try to hit the bult with the hammer and turn the bult at the same time with a wrench. Can you get any space betwen the frame mount and the bult head? I would take the pipe off just to be on the safe side. A dent in the pipe will ruin the thrill of new a-arms. ::
  3. Hit the end of the bult with a hammer to get it moving. Then work from their.
  4. What kind of pipes are on their? They look nice.
  5. Probly depend on how good of a port job you get. Port work not done right can take away power. Who are you having do the port work?
  6. I believe I have a blown reed floating around in the bottom end. Also my crank is not looking so hot since the RS flywheel problem. You can see a pic of that in the product revew section. I would like to get your input on that one.
  7. Would it be posible to burn the Nicasil off the cylinders walls by running the bike lean or out of gas? I ran my cub out of gas about 3 weeks ago in a drag race (WOT) up sand mountion. Somebody said that it is posible to burn the Nicasil off doing that. I put some more gas in it and if fired up. Cupple days latter after I got home. I checked to compression. Had 185 in both. That has been in the back of my head since it happend. That is why I ask.
  8. Did you get them all from the same place? All mine look like the bottom one I think.
  9. Ok, so I am concidering rebuilding my 421 cub since it is down right now. Do you just put new pistions in and go. Or do you have to have the cyclinders replaited every time. Can they be bored out? I did a search but dident find what I was loking for. If they need to be replated, who does it, and how much. $$$
  10. Set up the pancake bearing first then slip the pressure plate over the nut. Note: Make sure the clutch works befor you put the cover back on and start adding fluid.
  11. I dont have anything to say about the 421 motor. I cant think of anything good to say so I am not going to say anything. :: :shoothead: No, I havent got my outher motor back yet. Still waiting on that aswell. I did get those +2+1 a-amrs for it and some elka shocks. So when I do get my motor back. I will have alot to get use too.
  12. I hope this will help. If you need more info or pics let me know.
  13. The key groove looks good. Do you think that I will beable to fix the crank in the motor. Or am I going to have to take it out. If that is the case I might aswell rebuild the hole motor.
  14. Yes, the flywheel nut was still tight. So you guys think my crank is no good now or what.
  15. It depends on wether you want to run race gas or not.. If you run over 150psi you might need to start adding some race gas. Like a 50/50 blend of race gas and 92 octain. Most likely if you want to run pump gas (92octain) Go with 21cc or 20cc domes depending on elevation.
  16. When I ordered my RS stator not to long ago. The pickup was not screwed to the flywheel. Just hanging to the side with screws in a bag.
  17. I got to talk to somebody at RS today. Not sure who it was but they seemed real cool about it. He asked me what happend. I tolt him the ribits broke off the flywheel and took out the stator. He said "it sounds pritty self explanitory." Just sent it in and when it arives. We will call you and take care of you. I thought that was pritty cool. I will be sending it off tomoro and keep you posted. Beau
  18. Maby looking to get some out of frame drag pipes for my 421 cub. I might have some sheers to trade also. If you dont have any pipes. What kind of pipes would you get for a sand hill climbing Banshee?
  19. Well, after I spent $200 in gas to go to Sand Mountion Nevada for memorial weekend. My banshee started making a crazy sound as soon as I got their. I thought it was a bearing so I decided to go back home and fix by Banshee befor it got any worse. Today I pulled the flywheel cover off and was shocked at what I saw. I am supper pissed. My RS flywheel only has maby 5 hours on it. The RS stator has the same 5 hours on it. My 4 mill Crank is not looking so good. I wasited $200 in gas for nothing. I have about 9 gallons of race gas that will probly go to waist. (nothing to use it on) Maby my honda will get a treat. What do you guys think about the my crank? Is it still usable? Does anybody know if this is RS Stator# 1-819-838-1395. It is the only number I could find on their Ebay page. Any advice on how I should approach them at RS startor. I want my stuf replaced but dont want to come off as a BIG dick head. I know that somebody posted the same problem befor with their flywheel they got from RS. I could not fint that post thow.
  20. Thanks, I was looking at maby painting my swingarm after reading the replys from yesterday. It probly wont happen tell winter. I think that I will paint those ugly foot pegs also. Maby a few outher parts aswell??? It must be the pic cause my wheels dont sit like this. \ /
  21. I am going to try to make it out their. I just hope it is not going to be to hot this weekend. I might see you out their.
  22. This is how it look today. I was thinking of just putting on the lower arms but did both. Yes, the axle is stock. It looks wider cause of the off set on the rims. The silver ones will probly be getting put back on in a week or so. I just have this strange feeling somebody is going to run into me on the mountion this weekend. :shoothead: ::
  23. I have the stock black a-arms off my black 06 ltd Banshee siten around. I was thinking of taking my silver ones off my Blue Banshee and puten on the black a-arms. I figeren I would ask your oppions and see what you think.
  24. You might beable to see what I am saying.
  25. If you take off your flywheel and shack it. You might hear sompthing broke inside of it. With my broken flywheel. The broken sound inside of it was so faint. I could not even hear it. Somebody elce could, I could not. It sounded like sand or sompthing inside of it. Careful not to hit your self in the head when shacking the flywheel. ::
