In the process of building a banshee for Dunes only. Racing the hill thats it. I would like to get new cdi and coil but have been told to many different stories. Anyone have a similar bike with actual data of one coil/cdi making a difference over another? I was all set to go with Dyna CDI and Nology coil, but heardthe Nology's go bad quick. Anyone have Dyno proof? Help!

Looking to buy aftermarket radiator. PWR etc. OR stock radiator in prestine condition. I need shifter, brake, kicker, pegs, in billet or chrome. Also looking for Black front Fullbore. Trail Tech lights black seat cover Any ideas let me know. im in AZ

I have a ton of stuff im looking to get rid of. Check the pic out and shoot me an email with any questions. In the process of rebuilding a banshee. I have the front brakes-$50 and Perch lever for handlebars. Stock Stem not bent. $50 Heal guards $40 Chrome Bumper $40 Ported and polished Head, with pistons. I believe it to be on next to last bore. Not sure but that would be my guess. It was running last week, but im building a new motor with Aftermarket cylinders. $300 bucks for the whole thing with pistons. Stock Crank Welded/trued. $200 35mm carbs Keihn- With K&N's $200 Have the reed cages and reeds as well, i think they are Boyseen. $60. Axle with Chrome Carrier. $75 I'm Not stuck on any of the prices. Will Trade as well.

Would he want a head and crank as well. I have mine of my bike that i just pulled off this past week. I have a stock crank trued and Welded, Cylinders with the 66 pistons, Ported and polished. The head as well. let me know if you want pics?

I have both, a 450 and a banshee. I tried to make the 450 a fast drag bike but ended up looking at to much money to make it compete. Now its an MX quad only. The banshee is what i use for Old in glamis. But like i said 20 years of work on the banshee vs. 3-4 years on the 450's, dont worry they will get faster.

What price do you think is fair? I'm open for ideas, I figure you cannot by all the engine stuff for that price. Like i said its OBO.

I live off of Cave Creek and 101. I cant figure out how to post pics. I can email them to someone tonight if they want to post for me. 35 mm carbs as well, strikers i believe. $275 Swingarm +6 laeger i believe, with stock Carrier and Axle. Chrome. The chrome is not in tip top conditions but can be cleaned up. I would like to sell all together as a package (Swingarm, stock carrier, and axle) but open for offers. Swinger $325? I also have the complete top end pistons, cylinders, head and the Crank(Stock welded) i want to sell for $750 together if possible. Was in bike and running as of two days ago. Also have a chrome front bumber Heel guards I believe are AMS with the nets. Stock plastic if someone local wants it. Im rebuilding the bike for a project if anyone is wondering to why im selling. I'm interested in trades as well- Drag Axle, +8 swingarm, aftermarket carrier, Fullbore Plastic front, 39mm carbs, Any other ideas as well.

Tried to get it out again last night. Almost used an entire can of WD40! 1st used a wood block to hit it. Nothing. 2nd used a standard hammer. Nothing. 3rd used my trailer hitch. Nothing. The bolt spins very easy, i even tried different angles with the swingarm up high, down low, etc. Everything is off of the bike, just the swingarm left to go. Powdercoating is waiting. Tonight Round 3 i might end up borrowing a sledgehammer!

Man i cant wait until my bike is finished. It should be done by Thanksgiving, until then Its 4-stroke time at glamis. Went out a couple weeks back and it was a tad bit hot, but good riding though at night. What was the temp like?

Same problem here. I worked on it last night and gave up. I tried moving the Swingarm up an down and hitting it. No luck still. I'm real close to getting a sledge hammer and murdering this thing.

Stock Crank welded, Cylinder head, with pistons (66) Aftermarket swingarm with stock carier. +6 Chrome. Ams Heel gaurds. Chrome J-arms. Also chrome front bumber some aftermarket not sure which brand 35 mm carbs (strikers) In AZ

Why cant you guys be in AZ. I would buy today! This is getting old! I guess i might as well drive out to the east coast and pick up a banshee.

He got a great deal. Here in AZ its hard to get a banshee like yours for a decent price. Everyone out in AZ, CA think that there banshee is worth 6k no matter what. I reallized from day one on all of my banshees they are money pits, you never get it back. I'm still looking in case anyone wants to sell a banshee. by the way GO LONGHORNS!

Race it at the dunes, MX, Drag? If he wants to race MX, suspension would probably help him more then motor. If you guys are looking at getting better motor power you should probably upgrade to a new bike. Suspension and Riding technique/skill can beat motor all day long.

This is a pretty fun thread! what about gearing? what about tires? what about rider skill? what about jetting (banshee)? You will always have what about this vs. that. I have both, so i dont really care either way, but my 4 stroke is getting fast!

Nice design, ever testd one? Dont forget the banshee has been around for close to 20 years. What happens when the 450 4 stoke quads have been out for 20 years? Either way if i have the money i can beat you! It sucks, but grudge racing is fun at the hill. but it would be nice to know what your running against. All i know is that turbo yfz was fast as hell.
