ok i went out and looked. i found 4 TORS cables.... all of them have something wrong with them. 3 of them are broken at the splitter housing. 1 looks like it would be useable but i pulled the tors boxes apart (just to see what they consisted of) and at the other end the little piece that screws into your thumb throttle has become loose. it might work for you in a pinch (i can put the tors box back together or you can use your boxes) but that's all i could find for now. let me know if you are interested in it.

yes there is a difference. the cable sticking out of the threaded end is too long to use with a thumb throttle. i might have a decent one out in my garage. i will have to look. if i do have a decent one you can have it for the price of shipping. i will go out and check in a few minutes.

it has been done. if you are interested in information go to project blaster's forum and look for a guy on there with the name 250blaster. he has done the swap. i don't know how often he gets on there but he should be able to help you out. sorry, i was thinking of the wrong person. try Rancid. this link should show you a pic of the blaster with the yz motor. http://pbforums.mxadrenaline.com/index.php...l=yz250+blaster there was another guy on there that did the swap and had grey plastics on his. but i can't find him on there now sorry.

warrior hubs interchangable w banshee hubs?
nunyabinness replied to peterlocal22's topic in General Banshee Discussion
yep just drill out the spindle and then swap everything over. yes, the tie-rods work as well. only thing you have to do is just turn the out side end over. as for the rear brake i am running... well right now i have a banshee front brake jimmy rigged on there. but by the end of the week i will be swapping out my whole rear end (carrier/axle/brakes) to a banshee set up. the mods ar all very simple to do. let me know if you end up deciding to do the switch and i will give you some tips on how to make things go alot smoother. -
warrior hubs interchangable w banshee hubs?
nunyabinness replied to peterlocal22's topic in General Banshee Discussion
finally they uploaded. the only thing you have to do is modify the upper spindle mount. you have to drill it out with a 9/16" drill bit. then you drill another hole in the side of the spindle mount and thread it. i think mine is 1/4" X 20. anyway here's the pics to show you what i am talking about. the a-arm showing in each of the pics is the upper blaster a-arm. if you need anymore pics or better pics let me know. -

just had a little scare. went out to get those pics and my camera took a shit. it like only half way turned on but wouldn't turn off or any thing. so i changed the batteries and it started working again. usually it will turn on and the screen will tell me that the batteries are "exhausted" but i guess they were to dead to even get that far. lol. anyway the pics are being uploaded to photobucket right now. -

yes that is correct. i have banshee brakes on my 2000 blaster. the only thing you have to do is drill the top spindle mount. you just use a 9/16" drill bit. then you need to use a 1/4" drill bit and drill through the side of the upper spindle mount. the little hole you will need to thread it and put a bolt in there. i will get you some pics of my spindles tomorrow. -

none. but you can modify the spindles to work on the blaster. it's pretty simple to do. -

hey, i am in need of a stock rear brake hub. all i really need is the hub but i will take what ever i can get.
-
add another satisfied customer to that list Steve is a great guy to deal with. i would recommend him to anyone.

if i remember correctly that's what my friend did as well and he said about the same thing. and BansheeKid15, i agree with your statement that i think it was a weight thing... that was my point about the pipes being roughly the same as far as HP gains. BHR shee, i think you will be happy with either set of pipes.

the reason i said what i said about the t-5's not putting out anymore power than the PC's is because i had some friends down in Medford, OR that had gone and bought a pair of banshees (new from a stealership) his was an 01 and hers was an 02 (bought them a couple of months apart). his had the t-5's and hers had the PC. they would go to the dunes and drag race against each other. when she would ride her bike she would beat him and when she would ride his bike she would beat him by roughly the same amount. when ever he would do an upgrade on one bike he would do the same upgrade on her bike and the results were always the same. but he is a very competitive person and one of his other friends bought a banshee and so then he had to keep up with Tom's bike so then the upgrades for her bike stopped happening as much. my personal preference... i like the PC pipes but that's because i like to be able to just put around sometimes and the t-5's don't really allow you to do that. and Dave, i'm not saying you are wrong (you have a TON more experience with banshees than i do). i am just stating what i have seen.
-
it's personal preference. you are not going to get any more power out of the t-5's than you are out of the PC's on a stock banshee. the PC's come on lower and pull all the way through the rpm range. the t-5's have a mid range hit but nothing in the lower rpm range. personally i like the PC's better but that's just my opinion.

sorry for the double post. by the way these are for an a-arm banshee brakes.
-
sorry for the double post. can somebody please delete this one?

hey, i'm hoping somebody on here can help me out pretty quickly. i sold a set of brakes to a guy and realized that one of the soft lines were split. so i sent him the brakes minus one brake soft line. does anybody have one laying around that they would be willing to sell me and ship it to this kid for me? thanks.
