I assume the Dish is basically the same as DirecTV. I didn't like the receivers that DTV supplied, so I took their cheapo and put it on a rarely used TV and bought an upgrade. The better ones do make a difference with the picture quality and surfing options.

I have no complaints with the gnarlys. The power comes on early and pulls strong. And like mentioned above, revving them won't get you anywhere any faster.

I have the same one. You did a good job putting it on.

I designed a table using 4 Bilstein shocks, 2 Banshee shocks, stock Banshee exhaust system and the swingarm off of my 3 wheeler. Maybe I'll make a pipe bong and kill two birds with one STONE!

I also think you should look at the Raptor 700. My wife wanted a Rhino too, after driving a Ranger, but there aren't many places for us to ride it, so she chose the Grizzly 700. I wish she had the desire for a sport quad. Good luck and it doessn''t sound like she'll be disappointed either way.

That's a nice machine. You could name it Sheera (He-mans sister), Sheena (Queen of the jungle) or Shiva (if you like religion or weed). But I don't think it really needs a name, unless you want to sign the title over to me

All the equipment mentioned is good and I'll throw in JL Audio components which I use and they sound nice too.

It's legal to ride there, but I'm told you need a permit. I'm looking into getting one, but I'm unsure how at the moment. I'm waiting to talk with the other NJ riders who go there to find out more.

Welcome to the site! IMO, I'd rather buy a new one than a used one with mods. I think you could do better on the price. I got my '06 in August and paid $5300 OTD. Good luck!

I've seen it several times, but entertaining isn't the word I would use to describe it. It's more like the trainwreck scenario...so bad you can't stop watching. I feel badly for these families. It's nice to see some of the "success" stories.

For the first time since I got her, I rode with several other Banshees. One guy had a 21cc Noss, +4 timing, a lightened flywheel and T6's. He ran 93 octane and was very happy with his machine ('05). I also ride mostly tight trails and the swamps and I wouldn't sell my Shee. My first performance updrades were shocks and exhaust. I plan on making it a better woods machine too, and like ever1 mentioned parts and knowledge are plentiful. I have a ball riding in these conditions! :biggrin:

Along with those twennies, you could add chrome chain-link forks and ape hangers like you see on the ghetto bicycles. I also vote for a Homey the Clown horn mounted on the bars. That horn alone is a sweet upgrade.

NJORVP is in Chatsworth. I just went to a spot in PA yesterday that was pretty damn good. I don't know exactly what town I was in but it was off Rt. 80, the Buckhorn exit (232). It had 22,000 acres of varied riding. I look forward to getting back there next year. PA is very ATV friendly, at least compared to NJ. I'm disappointed that I moved back to NJ, although the move is what provided me the resources to buy new quads...catch 22.

It sounds good to me. Back in the day I had several friends with Odyssey's and they were lots-o-fun. I own a Grizzly 700 and I think the power plant is nice. I'll always love the sound of a 2 stroke, but the EFI motor is a nice feature and you can put around without loading up. Keep us updated if you decide to do the swap.

Most of my riding is tight woods (1st-3rd gear, 4th on a "straight") and I run an FMF Gnarly with no complaints. It's the only system I've run, so I can't compare to any others.

I debated between the SST's and the Gnarly's. I went with the latter because all I do is tight trail type riding. I also have the quiet pipes so I won't get thrown outta the state parks, or piss my neighbors off will riding down the street to access the swamps. I have no complaints.
