what about durability? would the SS be more rugged and durable than the buffed mohawks? sand is sand, but at times gotta ride through the rough stuff at the camps sites and washes at glamis.

go with t5's. for paddles run a straigh paddle "hauler". for dune play a set of sandstars should work out.

what is the compression on the stock banshee? and what is highest compression i can run on pump gas?

that bumper is stronger than what it looks. the tubing and brackets are solid, stronger than stock...easily.

are you running the airbox?

loosen the inner nut first. reverse thread. expose the clip, remove it, then the other nut comes out. have someone sit on the quad, put it in gear, with both brakes front and back on. You'll need a BFW to remove it. a BIG FUCKIN WRENCH.

My buddy just got a Raptor700 and is looking to slap on a full exaust system. Does the computer of a fuel injected engine pick up the mods done and compensate on its own, or does the computer need to be reprogrammed by the stealership?

just got back from the race an hour and a half ago. man that track is turning out good. no more 1-2 grooves. there was losts of 4 wide racing at the straightaways. I pull for jr#8. Qualified 5th, best ever for him at that track and was running strong till he dropped a cylinder and ran on 7 for a while till the engine let go. Tony stewart is a badass, putting on some risky moves. We were sitting towards the front, someone was burning up a rear end and man it smelled way to strong. This race is was more of a night race, than the so called night race in September. The September race is suppose to be a night race because it starts at 3pm and finishes around 6-7. At that time of yr the sun is out till 8pm. Today, due to weather the lights came on ealry and looked crazy. Lots of crashes going into turns 2 and 4 as usuall. Rutiman took a hard lick! Did you get to see the parachute team drop in after the driver intros? one of them landed in the stands.

I'll takem, whatever you got that you aint using I'm in. Though I don't follow the standings in most of the series that you mentioned, I'm still a big fan of motorsports. I'll hit you up next time. Thanks.

man IRL cars zipp through there pretty quick. I'm getting a little bit more into IRL every year. IRL comes to Cali in September, maybe I'll get some tickets to check em out.

the race starts at 1:pm. we're leaving by 7:00 am, its a 40 minute drive for me. we hit the vendors,get our scanners programmed,drink some beer, then go look for our seats. this track would be the shit if they were to raise the bankings, it would keep the speeds up to 180mph through the turns.

i have a 450 too. i dont own a banshee and ive been on here since last yr. though i dont own a banshee ive always been a big fan of them. as well as motor builds, 4x4,s, rhinos, etc... so I log on and see what everyone has been up to and see how some of the builds on here are comming along.

a drop in cam would be a start. stage2 or Hrc. if you want topend. Go with the HRC. get a full exaust system on there. theres a few good ones out there. N-motion,ESR,Dasa,etc.. some port work and a high compression piston with 13t sprocket would make that bike scream. i have a 450r as well, its a duneplay bike, with a stage2 cam, esr intake, yoshi exaust, elka shocks, houser arms, 39t and a bunch of replaced boltons. going with a 12.25 compression venom piston to run pump gas.
