  1. if your running a cool head the domes have to be cut so the pistons dont hit them.. unless you plan on running the spacer at the bottom, but most people have the domes cut instead. also you have a option of 795 pistons if you stay stock bore or moving to blaster pistons... oh and your going to want some new carbs 34-35 mm your 26's are going to starve that thing bad. check your clutch plates make sure they are good if not replace them the new power will shread those things if not. if your not riding in mud or water rip the air box off and run pods. also look at heavy duty springs for the clutch to hold better. tons of other thing you can add to wake that thing up
  2. the first video is just starting up ... normal smoking.... but watch the second video and when you rev it alot of smoke comes out even after 2 min of warming up. Startup After Warmed Up so we got the pipes at normal heat but this is the smoking i was talking about...
  3. hey i looked at my clymers and the answer is no you do not need that o ring... i called hinson when i redid my clutch becasue it did not come with that ring... i know what your talking about now.. i also ask a few shops becasue it says something about the ring for stock clutches and they are not on a stock clutch when you buy the bike... but the answer is no you do not need that o ring... sorry for first reply about the kick starter i wasnt paying attention and didnt catch which o ring you wher tlaking about...

  5. anyone know if the float bowls for 34PJ's fit 35PWK's?
  6. pipes already look bad so im not worried about that, i just needed to know if the pipes go straight through or not casue i need to wash them out cause i got alot of of oil built up from breaking the motor in.
  7. anyone know if the fattys go straight through or if there is baffles or and thig inside the pipes to block fluid if i try washing out oil built up inside the pipe?
  8. yea i dont think the head is leaking either, im going to drop the pipes and try cleaning them out and if it lets up ill get more packing and redo them.

  11. well i found the problem with the heat... it was the cylinder came lose and was leaking so we tightend it up and it came back to normal... but its smoking like a mother! when i pin it its just rediculose... ill have to take my camera over and record it and show you...
  12. yes i had the same problem.... but mine was with a hinson clutch.... the three screws that hold the yamaha plate on the clutch side have nipples inside the cover that is what was hitting on mine... if its the same on yours it an ez fix... just get a small dremel tool and a flat headed bit and grind it down some, just ake sure not to go all the way to the threads... this was my thread for the same thing....Hinson Clutch.. Problem...
  13. yea my 110 will make it cold in a matter of hours... but i drove from san diego to rosarito sp? mexico and it didnt even effect the temp... ill try the pluging in and making it cold then maintaining with the gas see if that works.
  14. plugs are brand new besides the breakin... ill check for leaks but that only solves the smoking case... any ideas for why the pipe is so hot? thats my main concern. the jets are the same and carbs are syned , ill open them up and take a look but they are brand new so shouldnt be dirty but ill see. ill let you guys know what iv found.
  15. i dont have my clymers here with me but your not refering to the o ring going on the kick starter are you? if so then yes you need it
  16. ok let me see if i can explain this so not to make it confusing.... i just rebuilt my motor top and bottom .... broke it in... the Left pipe smokes alot more the the Right... but the Right pipe gets WAY hotter then the Left... i synced the carbs and checked the jets, and set both idle screws to same. but when i start the bike the right pipe gets sooo much hotter then the left... i did a compression check on it and the left side gets 145psi and the right 141psi... any ideas what could be casuing this? also i have alot of oil blowing out the pipes from breaking it in... whats the best way to clean the inside of the pipes?

  18. your more then likely going to have a piston that welded its self to the cylinder wall .
  19. yea it sucks casue i dont have a place to plug in at overnight cause i live in condos and cant park it out there overnight.. so its a pain. spend all this money and the shit dosent work like it should
  20. anyone ever used Electro Tech Next to ECC for PC? i called a few places and between them and Olympic Coatings they have the best deals.. i have seen the work Olympic dose and its very nice.. but i havent seen Electro Tech in person.. i know that Alba uses them but that dosent mean jack to me. id like to see some input from you guys.
  21. hey guy i got a 06 Extreme Megalite and im having problems with the fridge cooling using the propane to cool it when driving... any one else have the same Trailer? i am either retarded or there is something wrong .... when i plug it in and run auto for electricity it cools down fast but as soon as i go to gas the check light dosent come on so its saying the pilot is lit but it dosent cool off.?

  24. any one know what size the stock axle lock nut is? i got a wrench from albas and of course it didnt fit so i had to take it back but now i need to put the axle back on...
