Hey Ricky, I'd say go with the LSR Chromes which will flow good with the rest of your bike. And if you're not too worried about a bit more weight over Durablue then get the GForce Axle. List the mods, first things first & you'll get accurate answers. I'd say make sure you're mixing your gas with a good quality oil, I use Maxima. You don't want to fry the cylinders. Second, keep that air filter clean. Also check fluid levels.. Check the bike for leaks, make sure nothing is wet. Post pics of that 2000, let's see wutcha got???

I always dig around the forums before I buy new, most of the time come up with good deals. Found a set not too long ago on GD $40 shipped, there's a set on PS with frame clamps $60.

I just gave tightened with a wrench by hand & that was that. Never had a prob. There's also an allen head screw to secure it! With Brake Disc side assembled, feed it thru the carrier & assemble thru the sprocket side. The posi locknut will cover that c clip, back it up to expose it and pop it off with a screwdriver. Remove it the same way you put it in!
