  1. Any aftermarket pipe you go with is going to have an expansion chamber that will sometimes be in the area for a leg burn.. I always wear my riding pants but wear shorts at the beach, nothing wrong with that.. You'll just learn how to ride without burning yourself... It might take a couple burns but yeah... you'll learn  I'd say go with T5's, work good on stock setup and only get better with bolt on mods. I'm now moving up to a new top end & mild port which will definately put those pipes to work. You're not going to burn yourself unless you get careless.. Here's a picture example of the pipes at Pismo Beach. Also, you'll be amazed at the people who pay bux for stock pipes, chrome ones makes it a +!!!
  2. That's some good deals! I've searched the bay before but no luck.. I guess I need to put more effort into it! Thanks for the inspiration! I'll hit the bay again!!
  3. That's funny, from a guetto dood!! :yelrotflmao: Nothing like pimping out some stock pipes.. I'd say grab a stock bumper & throw the funds down on some T5 pipes.. You'll be alot happier with performance results, I don't really like that bumper though..
  4. This is what I have on my Blaster, not sure if it's in your price range but I have no complaints about the performance >> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-FMF-YAM...1QQcmdZViewItem
  5. I'm sorry to pass on the deal.. I was to sell my current setup but damn.... The stinkin dog chewed up the paddles I was to sell ::
  6. It worked while it lasted.. Worked fine for me untill it took a crap.. Now it reads 15psi... I keep putting it off but I bought it at Sears so I'll see if they'll replace it for me. Next time I'm going with Craftsman with lifetime warranty! Oh... It's less than 6 months old, crap!!
  7. That's ef'n great man.. Made yourself some good dough for good mods!! Shit I'm feeling pretty good about my +4 timing that I added today
  8. Thanks for the link... There's lots of great people out here.. I'm referring to the many assholes that exist out here, add on the cost of living, housing ... ya know... All that sucks out here! Thank god for the good fam & friends though! Back to the topic!!
  9. I know you understand.. You used to live in this shit hole, good thing you saved yourself lol!!
  10. You can buy them for your weight, here's company Works > http://www.worksperformance.com/html/atv.html
  11. Thanks guys!! Seems like I'm still celebrating!! Got Monday Night Football at some friends house tonight!! I have the day off, the boss threw a free day at me so I'm using the time to work on the bikes. I removed the oil injection setup from the blaster, installed the blockoff plate & installing a timing plate on the Banshee!! That shifter is also positioned a bit outward making it easy to catch with your foot!
  12. It's easy to disconected the parking brake, simply remove the lever and follow the cable & disconect. Follow the electricals and disconect. Nothing to it. You should look at Casper's bike who has that kill switch and button for his lights on the tank cover. Looks pretty neat!
  13. Post some pics of your bike.. That will help with the good ideas
  14. You can send the shock out for servicing according to your weight. That would be the best thing to do. I seen new Banshee shocks going for $100 $150, keep your eyes peeled. Might find something nice. Don't waste your time with those 450 rear end shocks.
  15. I was actually ok, shared the bottle with someone but only drank half of it.. There was also dinner involved so it didn't hit that hard. Prior to dinner, margaritas with Patron tequila kicked me in the ass pretty good!
  16. That Tusk Disc is pretty nice >> http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...dFamilyId=16384 I might have to go with that, I hardly use brakes at the dunes so it's not a big deal.
  17. Sounds like the petcock is clogged.. Remove it to inspect and give it a good washdown with carb cleaner. Nothing to it. Just a couple screws and it comes out. Might be a good idea to throw a fuel filter in there.
  18. First time around it didn't work for me, I applied it too thick & it was 800 degree primer.. The prob only existed on the first 8 inches of the pipe, where it heats up the most. Here's the thread > http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...=72981&st=0
  19. Yeah... Makes others look twice when you pass by! So I resprayed the area where I lost the finish, no primer, just sprayed it onto the bare metal. Let it dry to the touch and took the bike for a rip. Brought it back to camp. I resprayed once cooled and took it for another rip. Now it's baked on there pretty good! Socalinit, Sanshots & Uncleribcracker seemed to like em
  20. You can prob get away with a hone over the standard bore & run that kit you got. Honing will cost maybe $50 bux. Mind sharing where you found the nice priced top end kit? Thanks.
  21. :geek:
  22. Damn!! It's a little bit diff in Cali.. Everyone is a big shot over here & everyone has an attitude problem. That's just Cali population for ya! Thanks for the tips!
  23. I used VHT ceramic coating pipes & came out well.. Didn't use primer, just wen't thru light coats. Did you cure the paint right??? Going heavy on the paint can cause it to bubble. Do a search in the Apperance Forum, I have a thread on it.. I couldn't find it myself.
  24. I poked holes on my IMS stickers before placing them on. Still holding up!
  25. No kiddin!! I think that's a Banshee Transformer!! Looks Slick Mike!!! I like your riding shoes too, that's gangsta!!
